Phenomenal property with beautiful views of the water and surrounding mountains. The room (we stayed in a two bedroom villa) was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The property common areas are in great shape and well maintained. We were on the all inclusive food package which made sense for our two teenagers, and we all thought the food options were excellent. But probably the best feature of the resort is the amazing staff. Everyone was so friendly and super helpful. From what we learned, many of the staff have been on the property for a very long time and they really act like a family and treat their guests as if they are part of the family. If we return to St. Lucia, we will most definitely stay at the Windjammer again!

Beautiful resortPosted Mar 11, 2018
We just spent a very special spring break at Windjammer - lovely resort with great facilities and very helpful employees - shame that the red flags were up on the beach all week so we did not get to experience the water sports. Loved Jammers as a great and reasonably priced place to eat in the evenings. Resort is very hilly so walking to and from villa's is only for the fit and agile - but shuttle service very efficient if walking is a problem .

I understand they hotel pays the commission to Expedia purchasers. It puts both Expedia and the hotel in a very bad light when they neither one of them care about the customer. It is a very tangible impression that the customer gets upon check-in when the front desk staff realizes your reservation was made through Expedia.

Wonderful time at an amazing place!Posted Feb 21, 2018
My daughter and I came to the Windjammer for six days we absolutely loved it! St. Lucia is beautiful! The weather is so nice and the hotel accommodations were great! We reserved a one bedroom and ended up with a one bedroom villa!! Am lthough the Villa was quite dated, they did a good job renovating the interior Decor. It was spacious and comfortable with lovely views. Most of the Windjammer is open air therefore the only room that had air-conditioning was our bedroom which was a little annoying because it was an in wall unit that went off and on throughout the night - it was kind of difficult to keep the room at a steady temperature. Also I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for elderly people unless you are OK taking a shuttle service to and from your room (it’s free and easy enough to use) because it is an extremely steep walk up to the rooms from the beach and main hotel area where all the restaurants are. The food was good, the beach was beautiful the hotel staff could not of been nicer -they were also happy to have you there and wanted to make sure you were enjoying your stay in St. Lucia !

The villas are situated very nicely on the hillPosted Feb 21, 2018
Pros: All personnel if very friendly and will do anything for you right a way. The villas design is fantastic and clean with excellent views.
Cons: The bay is man-made and half of it only can swim, the other half is so shallow with sharp rocks, so if you would like to walk is impossible.
Location: Location of this resort is fantastic, right on the beach / ocean, with water acclivities rental: kayaks, jetski, a boat tours
Each villa can occupied 4 people, and the view is incredible, ocean temp is 79F, the personal is excellent, very friendly. If you are not taking 'all inclusive' be prepare that some of the restaurant may charge over $120 US dollar for single dinner, but the breakfast is in normal range of $38 US and you can take a buffet which has many choices.

Idyllic tropical paradisePosted Feb 10, 2018
Nothing could be more beautiful than the white villas with terra cotta roofs nestled into the hillside overlooking the deep blue Caribbean and palm studded beach. Due to a water leak, we had the advantage of two rooms. One was a third floor with unbelievable expansive views and total privacy, and then we were moved to a first floor room still with a great view and steps away from a crystal clear infinity pool. The staff was gracious and friendly and so accommodating. The food in the five restaurants was very good. I would recommend the all inclusive unless you are going for an extended stay in a villa with a kitchen. We had grand plans of utilizing the numerous water sports, but other than a great snorkeling excursion we were found the enticement of total relaxation too hard to overcome. Lounge chairs under palm trees, bobbing in the sea watching little fish and , of course drying off in one of the beach side bars. We can’t wait to return!

Beautiful ResortPosted Feb 3, 2018
Beautiful resort with wonderful staff. Some of the costs are a little absorbent at the resort though. Wouldn't recommend a meal plan as we didn't get one and after eating breakfast at the resort once, we knew we made the right choice. Portions were small, food was bland and a breakfast of eggs for two should never cost $50 USD. We prearranged our whale watching and diving excursions without using the resort and saved quite a bit of money in doing so. The resort does have a dive shop and this is where the dives pick up and drop off from. Dive shop was helpful and diving was simply amazing. The mini mart on the resort is overpriced. There's a Massy Grocer just 5 mins away in Rodney Bay, does sell liquor and is priced reasonable. Spa is twice the cost as off resort. The gym was nice and had sufficient equipment to stay fit till back at a full gym. Refill your water bottle with filtered water at the gym for free. The resort is built into a cliff so walking anywhere is difficult but the shuttle service is adequate and on resort travel is free. The shuttle drivers do drive crazy so due buckle up. Beds were a little rough and pillows were uncomfortable. Laundry on resort is not affordable but Sparkles Laundry in Goes Islet, is very affordable and charges by the pound. All in all, a great stay.

Cons: cost of all inclusive food and drink
Location: tours offered were very good. We had the best taxi driver Mr. Stephanson Augustin of Paradise Taxi. and also the historic tour with Mr. "Stormey" Nor
all inclusive for food and drink is really expensive. One would have to eat like a pig and drink like a fish to get anything close to value. My wife and I did not buy the all inclusive and spent about 15% of what the all inclusive would have cost us. The resort overall is very nice and a lovely location.great place for a wedding.
