An old Motel 6

Posted May 3, 2016 on Hotels
All the other reviews were correct. The manager was high as a kite and took forever to check-in. The rooms are old, mattresses haven't been changed in 20 years, carpets are stained, bathroom very small. This is a Motel 6, you get what you pay for. If you are paying more than $50, look elsewhere.

We were very disappointed in this hotel. We got a reservation the week before, during the Masters tournament, assuming that a brand named hotel would be clean and comfortable. The room smelled terrible and the room/bathroom was very outdated. It felt dirty. The lobby and the gentleman at the front desk were the best things about this hotel. The receptionist was friendly and helpful but the hotel was poor and very costly!!!!!

Total Dump

Posted Apr 7, 2016
Pros: Nothing other than the helpful lady at the front desk.
We reserved a Non Smoking Room and was given a smoking room which they did change for us. Once we got in the correct room it stunk badly. We had to use a half of can of air freshener to make it livable. Carpet was stained and nasty. When I got out of the shower I unfolded the towel to find several hairs inside of it. I will never trust the Expedia rating again. I paid $300+ for one night because it was Masters week. I would have rather slept in the car and showered in a truck stop. Very unhappy!
