“Brilliant hotel in a great beach-front location. The room was very large and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was very good. The staff were all very nice and extremely helpful, particularly Leo who was regularly ensuring that we were happy with everything. Breakfast is made to order to suit your preferences and was very tasty. Nice hammocks to relax in. The staff even took our luggage to the dock for us”

“Beautiful property with basic but comfortable & clean accommodation. The beds were comfortable. All the staff we encountered were friendly. Lots of communal areas to chill in hammocks or chairs. Good varierty of food and drink options. Just a 15 minute walk to town.”

“Comfortable room with private bath, and we enjoyed sitting in the porch area and visiting with Katty & family. Close enough to everything to walk but far enough back to be peaceful. We went on the night hike and canoe tours with P&K Tours, and it was convenient to start at thr same place instead of meetinf up in the village or at the dock. This was the highlight of our trip through Central America.”

“The staff is very nice. Book some tours through their partner agency because they have friendly and knowledgeable guides. A few friendly cats in the area, buy some whiskers from the grocery store and make some friends. Sloths in the tree outside. The beach is a few feet away if that’s your thing as well, very shallow water but a refreshing dip. The jungle park is just down the street, 6km out and back close to the beach with some good wildlife. Friendly locals, probably a bit crowded during busy……

“Convenient location right in the main town of Tortugero feeling like a local. Direct walking distance to the many eateries and shops plus a few steps from the beach side. Access to the National Park without boating in/out. Arrival and check-in can be confusing with many individuals at various steps but just be ready to tell them where you’re staying and who you’re looking for. Quaint home is well equipped and all the comforts as described.”

“Petit hôtel familial, chambre correcte .un peu loin du centre mais plus calme ..5mn des embarquements . Accès un peu perturbant car on se perd un peu dans les ruelles du village mais on s’y fait très vite . 3mn de la mer 3mn des restos petit déjeuner simple mais correct . Ambiance très sympa..”
