It was Canadian standards clean and walking distance to historic Center and market. The restaurant was very practical, prices reasonable and food very good, We only tried their breakfasts but they had a good variety in their menus. The mattress was too soft for me but the staff gave me multiple blankets so I could make a reasonably comfortable sleeping surface on the vinyl plank floor. I was disappointed that all the mattresses in all the rooms were soft and I was not able to transfer to a room with a firm mattress.

It was just okay- the remodel you see in the photos must have been years ago. Careful with the area surrounding the hotel it is not good. With zero disrespect to the profession, literal hookers around the corner. Very noisy street late at night too (its across from Miriachi Plaza). Its fine if you're not looking for the hotel itself to be a destination, close to centro.

Stay Away!!
I just got home from my trip and I have to say, my trip would of been great but Best Western changed that for me. First and last time staying there. When we arrived after midnight, rain was pouring , we were tired. Arrived to check in when within minutes a man named “Nacho” who seemed to be a maintenance man came down to where we were and got all up I. Our face and I mean he was inches away from my face accusing us of smoking marijuana. I was in complete shock!! I got so upset I wanted to smack the lights out of him. Well he didn’t ask once but he asked or yelled and accused us like ten times before leaving to our room. We didn’t feel secure after that. We arrived to a room that was outdated , dirty and sketchy for sure. We moved our pillows to find long hair strands everywhere… our floors were dirty and had not been swept in a long time. I immediately started to look for other hotels but because of the Labor Day weekend everything was booked. The next morning I was in the shower and the cleaning lady came in ever after I screamed no thank you over and over…. I heard the key beep at the door and about 2 minutes later the door slammed… I went out and my stuff had been moved… wondering what she took…. I called front desk to let them know not to come in our room they were upset and said I could go elsewhere…

Im not sure why so many bad reviews. This is a Best Western Hotel with cheap prices. People are writing reviews like this is a 5 star hotel. If you cant afford a better hotel dont blame this place. For the cheap rates the hotel is good. Clean sheets, friendly daily housekeeping and central to shopping areas. Front deal ladies and valet were very nice and helpful. Hotel is located on a major street so there is alot of noise but once again this is why it is not as expensive as other hotels.

The staff was very nice. It’s a very outdated hotel but for the price not bad. The surrounding area is in a decline lot of vagrants. Which suck because it look nice just sketchy and dirty.

Dirty hotel in Red light district
This hotel has definitely seen better days. Photos in the website are deceiving, as furniture is way more worn, and bathrooms are tiny. The beds were fine, but the shower curtains were heavily stained by both mold and lipstick. The underside of the beds hadn’t been cleaned in, at least, a few weeks, there was a noticeable layer of dirt, hair, and trash, when we moved one of them. The hotel is located is in the middle of an ad-hoc “red light district”, riddled with prostitutes by night, and homeless people by day. It is not a safe area to visit with family. Even walking two blocks to the nearest drugstore feels risky. Expect to be awakened in the middle of the night to blasting sirens, it happened to us both nights. We moved to a different hotel for the rest of our visit.

habiamos dejado un billetera en el cuarto, limpieza se la llevo por error y si nos la regresaron en cuanto se dieron cuenta, mu amables todos, tambien se nos olvido la identificacion en el cuarto, ya en el aeropuerto hablamos al hotel y mu amablemente nos la mandaron por Uber al aeropuerto. Todo muy limpiosiempre!

Nice Hotel
Hotel is in a great location so many interesting places are walking distance. The only negative is I arrived about noon and was told room would be ready at 3PM, this was not a problem i had expected this and the hotel did store my luggage. However when I returned at 3PM the room was not ready yet and I had to wait another 45 minutes.

This property is one block from the market San Juan de Dios which it make it convenience but if you staying on the second or third floor it does not have elevators, The room is ok for a two star hotel, lack of water pressure on the shower head and yellow water coming of of the toilet and the faucet , very noisy at all time, you can hear the traffic and mariachis playing until very late at nigh and people in general. The area it is not safe after sunset. Be aware.
