No ice machine Only one towel (no face and hand towels) No elevator ( very difficult if you have many luggage’s) No convenience store nearby Very noisy ( a recording that imitates the nature goes all night long) You can hear neighborhood very clearly

Bonjour,Nous vous remercions d'avoir pris le temps de déposer un commentaire. la glace est disponible à la réception de l'hotel. dans un hotel 2 étoiles le classement demande 1 seule serviette par personne. donc si vous étiez dans un appartement à votre arrivée vous avez du avoir 3 serviettes. pour votre prochain séjour si vous avez des bagages, nous vous invitons à le signaler au moment de faire la réservation nous disposons d'appartement en ref de chaussée. concernant le bruit êtes vous sur d'avoir fermé les volets roulants + les baies vitrées?

The room was clean and comfortable. Eventually the air conditioner cooled the room to a comfortable level, maybe I was just too impatient. My card reader for the door didn't work on arrival, but that was promptly rectified. The grounds were nicely kept. I really liked the USB port built into the headboard of the bed to charge my phone. Food selection in the area was satisfactory and very tasty.

Room was dirty - paper in shower, urine on toilet seat. Hall lights aren’t lights at all - they just glow - maybe 5 watts at most. Breakfast is $13 piece of bread, very small portions of juice, yogurt, & coffee

So first of all the entrance to the flats is very presentable. Dirty! Got to the room, there is no internet. You have to pay for room service, pay to get clean towels and sheets, so if you’re staying longer than 2 days you have to pay for every clean towel, toiletries including soap and sheet you would need. Now with all of this. The breakfast Is very poor - for 14€ a plate. The pool is for little children and with all of again, unlike all the other hotels, you have to pay a deposit to stay on the room after losing all your nightly fees. The staff personalities are not so welcoming. Except for one lady on the front desk with locks who was very sweet and helpful. There is another one with short curly hair and glasses who was very very loud and fiesty. I encountered her twice and she wasnt nice at all. She was more screaming and trying to get you out of her face. I left and went to another hotel after i felt like i was begging to stay at this place. The residents there aswell have sticky fingers. This gentleman and his wife literally stole my stuff right in my face.

The residence apt was a huge disappointment. Hard to find, difficult to get access. poorly furnished, desperate need of paint, walls and doors were actually dirty. Would not recommend this property!

The room I book had a problem, there was water everywhere. I came just arround 6:30 in the morning after working all the night and supposed to leave the room by 11 in the morning. They ask me to wait till 8:30 for a technician to come and have a look of the problem. I said I cannot wait because I had only 3 hours to sleep, finally they give me a small room even if I paid for an Appartement with sea view... No breakfast

We had two separate overnight stays at the Karaibes Residence - first one just after our arrival and the second one before departing Guadeloupe. Both time we met very friendly staff and had pleasant stay.

Great for family
We (family of five) spent three nights. Apartment was clean and in good condition. Local area was beautiful, accessible by bus and had restaurant options.

Million dollar view
We paid a few bucks more for the Sea view and OMG it was so worth it. Breakfast on our balcony overlooking the sea and wine at night looking at the stars. Keep in mind it is 2 stars. The bed was comfortable, we had small fridge and 2 burners, microwave, and coffee pot, utensils, dishes, etc. Bathroom could use a little work but remember the 2 stars. The location in Gosier is quite convenient for getting to Basse-Terre and exploring Sainte-Anne, St-Francois. The location is tricky to find..on google maps look for Residences les Yucca. Check-in is at Hotel Karaibes which is just a few hundred yards before residences yucca. If you check google maps for Hotel Karaibes it gives you a completely different location. Just follow the road for casino gosier, head towards residences yucca and you will find Hotel Karaibes for check-in. Wonderful place and I will definetly go back!

Wonderful area, but needs a little care.
When we first arrived we couldn't have been more welcomed. I had to remember this is not a high up scaled island. When we got to our room we were very disappointed in the look. The mattress was torn up, the shower was broke, the furniture was falling apart. When we talked to the clerk she said we would have talk to the manager in the morning. I had to realize this was not a super club resort and put it perspective. When we went to the front desk in the morning he gave us keys to two other rooms to look at. They had the same look that's when we had to just be happy and enjoy the island. The manager said he would have them take care of the problems in our room. When we came back everything was repaired and the mattress was changed out. The kitchen had the basic you need, microwave, coffee pot dish's. One really nice feature was a washer which was super nice to have. The water was hot and air was cool. With the way the hotel staff treated us we would stay again they made you feel great. The staff also speaks some English and will try to explain the best they can. Which was a great help to us as we spoke very little French.

not too cheap to be dangerous, not too expensive
Very descent property, something in the middle between hotel and guest house. Safe, clean, efficient, but not luxurous to be true hotel. I had big kitchen with all utilities to cook, table for 4, shower cabin, but not the bath tub. Everything was functional: hot water, air conditioning. Room was in a 3 floor bulding with secure entrance by swipe card. Area is completely touristic, bars, restaurants, beach, car rentals - right around that hotel. Good bus connection to Point-a-Pittre.

The hotel is well situated, but in the end it's a small island so nothing's too far if you have a car. The T1 apartment is big (large room, large kitchen w/ all appliances, large bathroom).

Unit is a run down light housekeeping apt. Our first look sent us to the Internet but everything else was booked. If you are a beach bum or backpacker looking for a place to crash this might work, but not anyone else.

Cette résidence offre une chambre spacieuse, fonctionnelle avec cuisine extérieure et vue mer. La chambre est très propre voire neuve. Or, on annonce une cuisine tout équipée et il n’y a pas même de verre à vin. On met à notre disposition une literie médiocre comme les serviettes de bain. Le comble de tout : il est affiché qu’il y a internet dans la chambre ce qui est tout simplement faux. Même lorsque nous avons signalé ceci et qu’on nous a prêté une box (après avoir dû insister), rien n’y a fait nous n’avons pas eu internet. C’est carrément un leurre. De plus, le stationnement est gratuit, mais à condition d’en trouver ! Toujours un casse-tête chaque jour pour se stationner. Bref, je ne recommande pas.

Bonjour Madame,la vaisselle est équipée de façon standard. les verres a vin et à champagne ne font pas parti de l'équipement. par contre nous aurions pu vous dépanner à la réception. La literie est une literie professionnelle hotelliere de caterogie hotel 4 étoile les sommiers sont neufs avec des matelas de 35 cm. les serviettes de bain ? vous n'en avez jamais fait mention à la réception.A votre arrivée il vous a été proposé immédiatement et gratuitement une box individuelle internet et un emplacement de parking dédié uniquement pour vous et privée. Alors ce que c'est gratuit, vous avez refusé de donner une caution supplémentaire comme il est d'usage dans n'importe quelle hôtel pour le prêt de telles options. vous avez consommé plus de 40 Mo d'internet en quelques jours rien que pour votre consommation personnelle. quand vous dites ne pas avoir eu internet il est difficile de le croire. Toute l'équipe vous remercie d'avoir séjourné chez nous. au plaisir de vous revoir prochainement.

L’établissement aurait besoin d’un coup de jeune notamment au niveau des équipements de salle de bain , le pommeau de douche était rouillé et cassé . Malgré quelques couacs , le personnel a été adorable et a toujours trouvé des solutions efficaces et rapides . Bravo au Monsieur de l’accueil avec ses lunettes qui était vraiment super gentil et professionnel. Merci également au Monsieur qui s’occupait du SAV pour son aide et son professionnalisme.

Déçu du sejour
La description ne correspond pas avec ce que nous avons sur place. - La piscine n’était pas fonctionnel - Le petit dej à volonté, n’en est pas un, il s’agit d’un croissant et seul le lait et le jus est à volonté - la chambre n’était pas nettoyer à notre arrivée - Pas de wifi (inversement a ce qui est décrit) - le personnel n’est pas accueillant et n’a pas le sens du service.
