To begin, this has to be one of the cleanest hotels that I have ever stayed in and the staff were kind, it's location is also prime. I did some research and decided to give the Guam Reef a try.
However, I cannot ignore that it is severely outdated. Despite the cleanliness, I need to acknowledge the following.
1. Our room wasn't ready at 3 PM, it was ready a few minutes past 3, but smelled of strong cleaning agents.
2. Our room was hot, the hallway was colder than our room and this was our biggest complaint.
3. On the first night, the coldest that our shower could get was a little above warm. This was most uncomfortable with a hot room. We had 4 travelers but were only refilled with 2 towels when we prepared them for replacing.
4. Parking - it fills up rather quickly at night but there's sufficient parking available. It is a bit of a walk from the lobby.
I really wanted to write a positive review, but I cannot since this was one of my least favorite stays while on Guam.
