Great weekend in a wonderful hotel!
My girlfriend and I spent the weekend in San Miguel de Allende and couldn't have asked for a more comfortable and clean hotel. From the moment I made the reservation I was contacted by a representative who welcomed me and asked if there was anything I needed to ensure I had a great time during our stay. When we arrived we were greeted by a friendly staff who went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our time. The room was immaculate as far as cleanliness and we were fortunate to have a room with a wonderful view of the town center. I would like to provide additional positive feedback for Alex, Gabriel and Alejandra for their exceptional customer service and for providing information about the area. Again, the entire experience from customer service to room cleanliness to the variety and quality of breakfast options exceeded my expectations. This is the only place I would stay during future visits to San Miguel de Allende. Thank you very much for the great experience and hospitality!!

We spent 2 nights at this beautiful place. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was amazing and the all the staff treated us like family. They all take pride in there jobs and it truly shows.

We had a terrible experience at this hotel to begin with there wasn't any room service they did not have a restaurant you couldn't find anything to eat or drink after 10 AM second of all they don't except payments through Expedia , The room description is inaccurate , The price wasn't the same as Expedia we where Charged more at hotel than Expedia rate , they have no parking for guest we almost got ran over when we unloaded our baggage on the side of the road , it's very unsafe .

Perfect spot in SMA
We really enjoyed our stay - Alejandra and the entire team could not have been more helpful and friendly! The room was clean and well-furnished (and others we could see looked beautiful too); clean linens; wine in the room; breakfasts were delicious and plentiful; the courtyard and the upper deck were great for relaxing. And the location is very close to town and the restaurants but quiet. We'll stay here again.

The most beautiful and luxurious “Bed & Breakfast” we have ever stayed in! The garden is serene with a gorgeous old tree, the art work and furniture is in perfect harmony with the surroundings. The lady in charge Alejandra is the most gracious host imaginable. We loved our stay!

One of the most beautiful and comfortable hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The staff are wonderful, the breakfasts are delicious, and the location is perfect for touring San Miguel de Allende. My daughter and I stayed with them for a week in February 2020, and could not have had a better time.

This bed and breakfast was beautiful! We loved our room, beautifully adorned -the bed was extremely comfortable. It was quiet , spacious and lots of natural light. The grounds itself are beautiful with lots of different terraces and seating areas. Some shaded and some in the sun. Excellent places to view the sunset in the early evening. The only negative was the size of the pool. It was more of a wading pool rather than one to swim in. It was nonetheless beautiful and lots of great spaces to sit outside and visit or read. Great location as well. Staff were amazing and very helpful. When our flight was changed, they were already aware of it and called ahead to let our driver know we were going to need a different time for pick up back to the airport. The breakfast in the morning were delicious and rather than a typical buffet that you might expect out of B and B, we were handed a menu. Everything was absolutely delicious!

Lovely hotel with great service
Really nice property, very helpful staff. Location is perfect and very quiet at night. Just wish there was heat in the bathroom.

Orbitz put us in the cheapest room in the hotel. We had to move. Our nw room was superb. Please don't be so cheap. it was a wonderfully fabulous hotel!

I would highly recommend this hotel. It is very beautiful and unique and in a great location. It's within walking distance of the main square. The service was fantastic! I do not have one negative comment to make - I will definitely return.

A gem!
Casa Schuck was a last minute find on Hotels.com after there were complications with my Guanajuato city visit. I’m happy that happened because otherwise I would not have ended up here. It’s centrally located— an easy walk to the fabulous Cumpanio bakery and the Jardin. The rooms are beautiful, each unique and some with private terraces. The colors are brilliant, inside and outside — red-oranges, purples, yellows — and the cobalt blue pool. ( Too cold to swim in now for me but other guests took daily dips.) The breakfasts have menu choices and are tasty— for night owls like me breakfast until 10:30 am was a blessing. But perhaps the very best part of my stay was the wonderful people who work here: Alejandra, Cecilia, and Alvaro They made me feel as if Casa Schuck was my own home. I wish! My only disappointment was that at the last minute my husband had to stay in the U. S. However, after seeing my photos and hearing my description, he wants to come to Casa Schuck with me next year. Hooray!

We loved this bed and breakfast! We stayed in the El Sol room, which is right in front of the pool, so the pool is practically part of the room because as soon as you open the french doors of the room you are basically on the steps to go inside the pool. This was great for us since the hotel was not fully booked and we still had privacy. The room was perfect and the ceilings were actually higher than we expected, based on the photos they did not seem as high, so that was great it made the room feel bigger. We did get in the pool during our last day and as others have warned, it is not heated, it is very cold but you can get used to it once you are inside. We went in early September so the heat of the sun was still hot enough to make the cold dip in the pool worth it! Breakfast was delicious as well, the dining room was very nicely decorated and it was nice to get to know the other couples that were staying at the hotel. The staff was very nice and attentive. We were there for a wedding so when we arrived at night the doors were locked from the lobby, but we just had to knock to go in. The view from the rooftop terrace is amazing, you can see the main church from there and take some great photos. The hotel is conveniently located and walking distance to the main attractions. We definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in a unique bed and breakfast in SMA.

Overall first class experience, staff very attentive to all your needs, very friendly and helpful. The rooms are uniquely decorated, breakfast was very tasty!, the walk to local sites not far, but expect to walk on uneven grounds ( cobblestone throughout).

Casa Shuck was so perfect. First—-the location is perfect for walking to the main sights, restaurants and shopping. Our room was large and beautiful.Casa Shuck went above and beyond what I expected. Magical rooftop to enjoy the spectacview of San Miguel, a delicious breakfast daily, a lovel6 attentive staff. This was one of my best travel experiences.

The Royal Suite is the beyond stunning. Double Juliet balconies in addition to a private balcony. The bedding is the most comfortable ever! And I loved the bathtub. Beautiful, exceptional, with the beamed ceiling, woodwork, and furnishings. Some of the best coffee I’ve had in Mexico and made to order breakfast. The staff were outstanding! I will be returning in the spring.

Nice hotel but somewhat disappointing stay
This is a beautifully decorated hotel however unfortunately our stay was somewhat disappointing. We had no hot water and despite talking to reception about this on 3 occasions, nothing was done to fix the situation nor did they apologise or offer any compensation upon check-out. There were also renovations happening at the hotel which we weren’t made aware of when we booked, and our room had an overpowering smell of varnish. However, the breakfast was amazing and so were the breakfast staff, the bed was comfortable, the location is great and the hotel has charm. We wish we could rate it higher, however when you pay as much as you do to stay in this upmarket Casa, it is fair to assume there will be hot water.

The included breakfast was particularly good. The decor was beautiful. Staff were helpful.

Fantastic B&B
We stayed at Casa Schuck for 3 nights and everything was perfect: The decor, to the staff, the food and most impressive was the terrace for sunset. Would def go back and will make sure to tell people what a great spot it is

Very friendly staff great stay inwould deft stay there again. Rooms were nice breakfast was great best breakfast in town. They were very well at this hotel

Most relaxing stay
Susan, her husband and their staff made sure we were very well taken care of. We had the most relaxing few days in San Miguel thanks to Casa Schuck. This is my second time there. I even sent my parents there a few years back, for their anniversary. We will definitely be staying there again!

Beautiful hotel and friendly staff
It's a very beautiful hotel and all of the rooms are unique. There's a beautiful rooftop terrace with a small pool. The staff was very informative and friendly. Breakfast was great :). They also kept a fridge stocked with soda, beer, and water. If you got thirsty at the hotel, you just sign some drinks out of their fridge instead of having to bring drinks from the store.

Loved it!
We loved everything about the room, the staff, the location and the breakfast. We will definitely be back. The only negative situation is that their website states there are fresh flowers in the Royal room but we didn't get anything. It's quite possible that if I had mentioned it to the staff they would have put them in the room for us.

Absolutely wonderful -- book now!!
We were in San Miguel for a friend's wedding. Due to bad weather in Houston we experienced numerous canceled flights and ultimately 11 hours of delays. Susan (the owner) was out of town but was extremely helpful with continuing to modify our ride from the airport. We actually switched our flight several times between Leon and Queretaro -- whatever it took to get there. Susan was amazing about making sure we were taken care of. The staff, the food, the room, everything was perfect. Wonderful rooftop terrace. Special thanks to Cesar for being extra friendly and helpful. We can't wait to come back to San Miguel and will absolutely stay at Casa Schuck. Muchos, muchos gracias Casa Schuck team!!

Our stay at Casa Schuck was excellent!
Our stay was above & beyond our expectations! We could not believe how welcoming & accomodating everyone was. Casa Schuck is indeed a very special place that has been & continues to be attended to with a lot of love. Staying there made our visit to San Miguel de Allende over the top.
