Everything went wrong - what we had requested on expedia was not fulfilled, which led us and our family members were put two floors apart and very far apart (the hotel is very big and takes 6-10 mins to walk from one room at one end to the other). The twin beds were very hard - not like a hotel standard bed at all. when you moved on the bed it started creaking. Thus we changed rooms to be nearer our family but this took 3 hours. Dropped a transportation card in the previous room but was never found. Toilet was not very 5-star and kept flooding, my family's toilet choked during our stay as well. We previously stayed at the 4-star Yingbin hotel and that was so much better in terms of location, price, and attention to detail. The way the Dong Fang room and toilets were designed was not very friendly and you could knock into things / slip / get the toilet door banged on you if you were not careful (essential after travelling and tired). Wardrobe lights were strange - not working for 2 out of 3 days so had to squint to find clothes - but worked on second day. Plugs were not international friendly (there were just two 2-pin plugs in the whole hotel and the rest was the unpopular 3 slanted pins which most international adapters are unable to support).
Housekeeping service took very long for requests for additional adapter. Housekeeping was not attentive unlike Yingbin - when they found clothes that were dropped on the floor by accident, they didn't fold it nicely on the bed on top
