Quiet Hotel. Friendly staff. Room is clean.
The hotel is located along the main road and very convenient to call a cab. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotel is near to a housing estate and can get good and cheap food easily.

Hotel close to the Pazhou complex.
The hotel is not too bad. This is the second time that i stay in this hotel. The check in only takes 5 minutes. The staf were waiting for us. The only bad is that the air conditionar it was not working. they solve the problem after 2 days.

Great hotel next to a local park!!!
I decided to switch hotels last minutes because I noticed this hotel located in a better place! I booked Dan Executive hotel and cancelled it. I was right! Dan Ex is located in a very far area, nothing around. Daysun has everything you need-great location: you can see the part cross the street. there's a local farm market i think. Hotel is clean, quiet, even though it's close to main street. Close to Canton Fair!! Service is very good! I really enjoyed it. Will stay here again! Highly recommend to everyone

Amazing staff and location
The experience to stay at Daysun hotel was amazing. I just enjoyed very much the way that staff look after us and great location, room, good breakfast and services in general are pretty well prepared to reach the expectations from people from west. Next time I am in business in Guangzhou I will stay again with them

Just OK, I would not use this hotel again
The hotel in general is a good hotel, not a 4 star hotel, closer to 3 stars. Its a little old, but clean and comfortable rooms and beds. Nice work area and free drinks from the minibar. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The reason I would not recommend this hotel is because its far away from everything. There is nothing close to the hotel and the nearest metro station its about 10 minutes away by taxi. If you walk a good 10 minutes in each direction there are a few shops, but nothing special or attractive restaurants. However, the restaurant next door to the hotel was not bad at all, not fancy, but pretty tasty food. The breakfast buffet is catered for Chinese people, not westerners. There is a good selection of food, but most of it is vegetables, chicken, noodles, soup. There was a small eggs section, but the eggs were done many at a time and piled up in a corner of the buffet already cold. The wifi was very slow, however, the wired connection worked perfectly. Finally, there is not even one TV channel in English, not even news.

would not say this is a 4-star hotel but it was reasonably priced and offered a convenient bus transport to and from the fair. the room smelt of smoke though and the bathroom was a bit mouldy

Great staff!
The hotel's staff was wonderful. There were 2 elevators which were adequate.The hotel also provided convenient shuttle buses to the trade show. This was extremely useful because it's incredibly difficult to get a taxi cab in Guangzhou. taxi fares are cheap so locals will outrun you to get a taxi cab, we spent 1 whole hour to get a taxi to visit a shopping mall and 1 hour for returning. The room size was adequate, at the beginning there was a smell like mold.. as if the room was not ventilated well enough. The odour was particularly strong in the closet so we chose not to use the closet in order to avoid our clothes smelling like that. Although the room was cleaned thoroughly there were fungus stains in the bathroom caulk particularly around the shower area.Everything else was clean. 2 complimentary bottles of water daily in the room. Breakfast buffet was included and the offerings changed daily they had very good fruit in general the food was bland.Do wake up early to go as early as possible for breakfast because otherwise you only get leftovers. There is a KFC about 3 blocks from the hotel, it was very convenient. Just going down that street there was a very interesting local market, several blocks filled with local stores. If you walk 15 minutes there's a Pizza Hut. Bus stop right outside the hotel (there's a route that connects you to the city subway), it may be easier to take a bus than to take a taxi. Overall it was a great choice, will definitely stay there again.

My business partners and I enjoyed our stay at the Guangzhou Daysun Park Hotel. It was clean, comfortable, and close to the Canton Fair with excellent shuttle service to this even. While this Hotel may not be an international 5 star hotel, the staff was excellent and eager to help. In particular, Lina, one of the supervisors in the restaurant, was very attentive to our every need and comfort. Her English was excellent and made dinning in this foreign country a memorable and enjoyable experience. I'd recommend this hotel to any business traveler!

Daysun Park Hotel in Guangzhou
Got a good rate from hotels.com months in advance. Upon checked in, hotel not agreed with the rate because of Canton Fair period. Took one hour to resolved and upgraded to a suite, no complain. Breakfast was downgraded somewhat from previous stays, but still have a lot of choices for the Chinese. Bed was hard like everywhere in China, service was very good but rooms were outdated. Many restaurants close by, will stay again for a good rate.

very good hotel if you are going to the Faire-trade. it is very close to couple shopping center and the staff at the hotel are very helpfull. dont get ripped by the Taxi Drivers make sure they use the meter cost of taxi from aireport is about 185RMB = 30$ IF YOU USE the agencie at the aireport they will charge you about 400RMB JUST GO OUTSIDE the aireport and you will find the taxi station most of the people are very nice and helpfull

the place is nice. close to the expo + they had a shuttle service to and from the expo. however the hotel is far from the other markets and shopping area in guangzhao. a good 30 min drive. people going to guangzhao by bus from HK get down at the first halt for this hotel.

Located across from the Tianhe Park, the location is not exactly city center but it isn't a bad place either. The staff is friendly enough and they do try their best to give the best service. The windows can't be opened in the room so each room has a bit of a weird smell when going in. Not the most comfortable hotel in the world, but you do get what you pay for.

Trade Show ''R and R'' - Very Good Hotel
I just got back from a Trade Fair, and used this hotel for four reasons. As I had never been to China previously, I felt it was important to compare options available based on 1. Free Room based wired Internet, (free wi-fi is available in the lobby and I was also able to get the wi-fi connection at times in my room, but the wired option was permanent) .2. Proximity to Pazhou Complex (10 mins with hotel free shuttle service, morning and night), 3. Breakfast Included (one good guaranteed meal, with some western items on the menu) and 4. 4star option at a good price. I am assured that most of the hotels at this rating are good in China. The evening meal was also good quality, and although expensive by Chinese standards, was a full buffet option with soft drinks and coffee also, for a very, very reasonable price by western standards. The room I chose was the cheapest option, a superior with twin beds, and whilst being on the 15th floor the excellent A/C and triple glazed window kept me cool and noise free all night. Clean room,comfortable bed, blackout curtains and TV with film and sport channels in English. Reception Staff always courteous and at least one of the three on duty at all times spoke english. They provided directions to a local attraction, WITH a pre-printed card which says.. ''please take me to'' and then populated it with the place you want to visit with the Chinese written word, so that your taxi driver knows where to go, without you say a word.

Very good hotel
The room was quite small but more than adequate and had a huge king bed with lovely linen. The bathroom was marble with a shower over the bath. Older style hotel but in reasonable repair and clean. Foyer was typical marble but not overstated. Restaurant was generous size and catered well for western and Chinese breakfast. Had a wonderful foot massage place in the hotel which was excellent after many days walking at the Canton Fair. The hotel provided buses to and from the Canton Fair which operated at different times and were a real asset and well managed. The location to the Canton Fair was very close. Took about 15 mins most days. The location of the hotel was in a more local area with a local shopping area very close. However a 10 to 15 min cab ride would get you to more upmarket shops and eating places if that is what you wanted.

The hotel was very comfortable with well kept rooms. Good value for money. Most of all, the staff went out of the way to make the experience even more memorable. Hotel was close to the Canton Fair but just a little fair from downtown Guangzhou.

The hotel was fine. All the necessary items are very nice i.e. comforter, bathroom, towels. Location is a bit out of the way. Hotels.com listed my package as breakfast included but it wasn't.

A Business Trip Hotel
Daysun Park is perfect for the business traveler, close to Pazhou Exhibition Halls---very quick to get there and return--fair rates---adequate rooms--but NOT China's top level for hotels---if you need fluff and fancy--go elsewhwere---if you need to watch costs--need to be close to save time--and not wanting to be in the heart of downtown--this is a perfect hotel--and the staff is always smiling and they are very competent in English---but what do I know---I've only been coming to China for 30 years.

Daysun Park hotel - good choice Canton trade fair
This hotel may not be a good choice for convenient shopping, but it's great for the Canton trade fair, which is just a few km away and a free shuttle bus is provided. The young and enthusiastic staff have reasonable English skills and the standard of food at the buffet is excellent. The hotel rooms are modern and clean, with comfortable beds. My only minor negative comment was that there was only one serve each of coffee and tea in the room - more available from the front desk.

the hotel is located about 10mins taxi ride to the nearest MTR station. hardly any staff could speak English and Cantonese, quite frustrating. Someone smoke in the non-smoking corridor! Mould in the shower cabin. Certainly not a 4 star more like 3 star hotel in my opinion.

Decent Choice for Canton Fair
Decent restaurant with limited Western choices. Fairly good breakfast buffet included. Rooms are large, clean, and modern. Shuttle bus to and from the Fair. Can't say much about the area but it's a fairly short ride to the Fair. If you're looking for a well priced Western type hotel for a short stay this is a good choice.

THe Daysun Park Hotel in Guangzhou
We highly recommend this hotel. We stayed for 9 days and each day we received high quality service. All the staff members were very friendly and more than helpful. From having a taxi ready for us and pressing elevators buttons - all the little things that we did not even expect. A special breakfast was prepared for us to meet our religious needs. Our hotel room was amazing - clean and very large. It was daily cleaned and the towels were great. Anything we asked for was brought to us promptly. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay there again. All the employees went out of the way to provide the best service and we were always greeted with a smile. We were especially pleased with our Captain at breakfast time and all the employees that went on the shuttle bus service that was provided to the Canton Fair

Couldn't have asked for more in a hotel.
Super comfortable, staff is helpful. Would stay again. One suggestion. Please add yogurt to the breakfast buffet!

More than expected
This hotel is very new. The staff freindly and very helpful. I found the location good and enjoyed the local shopping life. A "park and shop" nearby which is like a regular supermarket. I noticed a park on the otherside of the road -not mentioned in advertising. If I had known i would have made more use of it. Will be hotel of choice next stay in Guangzhou
