Excellent value

I had a 12 hour layover at the airport and this was the perfect place to rest and get a shower. The hotel is right across the road from the airport, just go to exit 13 of the airport and you will see the hotel, it's massive!

Peaceful and quiet.

Pros: Very quiet, but the facilities are more than I needed.
Cons: It is great as is.

Lovely hotel, very quick and easy check-in, but very quiet considering that it is only a walk across the road from the airport. The room had everything, and more, that I wanted. Would not hesitate to go back again.

Cons: AIR CONDITIONING NEEDS TO BE ON ALL YEAR !!!!!!!
Location: VERY CLOSE TO AIRPORT
the location at the airport is excellent and the facilities are good BUT THE ROOM WAS 90 DEGREES (38 DEGREES) WHEN I OPENED THE DOOR AND NO AIR CONDITIONING AVAILABLE !!!!!!!! I ASKED TO CHANGE THE ROOM, BUT THE STAFF REFUSED !!!! THEY SENT A FAN !!!!! IT DIDN'T GET ANY BETTER AS THE NIGHT PROGRESSED !!!!!

Service beyond expectations

Pros: Convenient, great service.
Cons: Some floors smelled strongly of cigarettes - could smell as I walked through to get to executive wing. Glad I got an executive suite that did not.
The hotel is a pretty standard upscale airport hotel but what makes the difference is the staff. Not only did they surprise me with an upgrade me to an executive suite (really appreciated a soak in the tub) but also helped so much with communication. When I left to taxi to another hotel I was worried bc I don't speak any Chinese languages and did not have internet to track the route or use my voice translation app. They instructed the taxi and had him phone them when I arrived to my location to confirm I got to the correct place. Excellent.

Stone throw away from Guangzhou airport

I have stayed at this hotel several times due to stone throw away from Guangzhou airport. Convenient for me to stay, conduct my work around the city and fly to another city.

Right outside airport

Pros: Very easy to find. Comfortable and clean.
Cons: Renew beds. Only mark up snack prices by 2 times not 5 times in hotel room.
Location: Very near airport. Very bad Air polution outside stopped us from exploring. Asthma sufferers must take inhalers.
A run down top hotel, very easy to find . Exit airport exit 14or 12, cross the road and you enter the hotel, so easy. Checkin very easy , very polite staff. Room was standard similar to any hotel chain. Snacks and drinks very expensive. Beds were sagging in the middle but very comfortable. Very clean room. Their was a glass window between bathroom and bedroom but an electric curtain came down between rooms very strange. We dropped off bags then returned to airport . Exchange a £10 note in airport. Buy snacks and water in airport for stay. Hotel charge £10 for a bottle of water. If this is a stop over. Pack spare clothes and swim gym wear in your hand luggage, has your checkin bags will go right though to the UK . You hear about China. Air pollution, but until you see it you will not realise how bad it is. Very nervous stopping over in China. Have your e ticket ready and your next boarding card for your flight home with passports, then it easy to obtain a special 24 hour visa, at gate.

Comfortable, convenient and friendly staff.

Pros: The executive lounge and the spa are fantastic!
Cons: The Western Hotel is a let down to the otherwise wonderful hotel. Got our order wrong, did not communicate clearly in English
Location: We took the underground metro and toured Guangzhou. It was a fantastic experience. Visit Beijing Road, Canton Tower and many others. Metro is good.
Lovely staff but we struggled in the Western restaurant to communicate in English. Guess I have to learn Mandarin :). Don't arrive with no booking at last minute as they charge ridiculous rates in this case. Always book ahead! Don't hesitate to recommend it as its world class.

Nice airport hotel

Pros: It is so convenient. Just a 3 minutes walk distance from international terminal.
Cons: Room is not that clean and non smoking room still smells.

5 min walk from the Airport

Pros: Very convenient, but some facilities in the room are not well kept. Maybe the hotel is too old enough to repair many troubles.
Cons: Please repair shower switch. Please fix the light on the PC dest.
Location: You can see the hotel name even in the night from the Airport Lobby. It takes just 5 min walk from the Airport.
Shower switch was broken. Light stand on the PC table was broken.

first class hotel, but not without difficulties

Pros: comfort,location and executive lounge staff
Cons: internal hotel communication between customer service desk and front desk, i.,e. check-in, plus English language skills.
I chose this hotel because of comfort and location, especially being in the most immediate vicinity of the airport. but getting there was a bit of an ordeal as I had to go through immigration. for this I was directed to several desks: first transfer, than counter 19 for 24 hour visa which took a little more than two hours. when I arrived at the hotel check-in, my email-correspondence hadn't been properly processed and there was some difficulty in communication which also seemed to stem from limited English language skills of those behind the check-in counter. altogether the front-desk-staff was despite those difficulties very friendly and calm when I myself got a little impatient. it all changed again when I did my final check-in at the executive lounge. this lounge represents the very best in service, comfort and looking after any guest. the breakfast was impressively superb, the staff was fresh and smiling, which really made a big impact on my stay. I look forward to another stay during my return stopover later in October. - the hotel might be also at the top end of the local price range, but it is well worth every dollar!
