I reserved a room for 10/31-11/4 and paid in advance. Couldn't make it at the first night, so I called and told them I would arrived one night later. I got to the hotel, at almost midnight, after a long trip, just to hear that my room was given to someone else.
"I'm sorry, no show".This empty expression, "I'm sorry" was repeated about 50 times. I'm sorry bla bla bla...
Five minutes of talking to the "I'm sorry" wall were enough: I entered Expedia's web sight and booked another hotel. Then I realized that the bell boy left in the taxi's trunk a bag full of duty free stuff I bought.
That was an important test case for the hotel, and they failed it big time. Personally, I don't care. I don't need favors.
