Been before. Out of season its very quiet. Right by the beach. Lots of parking. Lots of great walks. Plenty of restaurants, some do close very early though out of season.

Good value hotel in great location
Hotel is well located near the seafront and only a short walk to the busy town centre. Restaurants are modern and service was good. The hotel was operating a reduced menu as our stay was over Christmas.

Adequate. Nice view safe area.
Stayed one night off season. Room was small for two people but comfortable beds and bathroom. Great location right in front of the beach. Parking was easy and free since i stayed off season, however hotel offers onsite parking for an affordable price at 8€. A short walk on the beach takes you to the boardwalk where there are restaurants and bars. Friendly front desk staff, the room I was given had a strong cigarette smell and I was immediately moved to another room with better view. Unsure that would be possible during the busy summer season. Make sure you check if you want a non-smoking room. Adequate for a 1 night stay.

The hotel and accommodation were kept spotlessly clean. However, for a 4 star hotel the bath towels were very thin making it very difficult to dry yourself. Also a couple of items in the bathroom needed some maintenance.

Receptionist was rude on arrival. I had emailed before I arrived to say I did NOT want to have a room nea the lifts or entertainment noise which they answered. I was allocated room 103 which was right next to the lift. I was then allocated room 112 above the noisy party on the second night. No sound proofing so you could hear everyone flush their toilets, have a shower, walk around, opening cupboards etc. Very noisy. Hair in the bath that wasn't mine. Partial sea view which was good. Food in the restaurant limited choice at 30 euros before drinks that was for the main course I believe. All the other receptionists were absolutely fine. Original receptionist didn't give me the wifi code so had to go down. It didn;t work and she kept telling me it was the right code and it wasn't. Just hassle you don't need on holiday.

Four star hotel Guardamar
We booked 3 x double rooms with sea views. One of the rooms wasn’t ready for us we changed to another room and stayed there. Another room had a leak from the air conditioning into the bathroom again we changed rooms. The last room had no electricity in the morning as the kettle blew the electricity it took an hour before it was sorted. The location is perfect and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

All was good. Clean and air-conditioned rooms. Great rich breakfast. Reception 24/7, all good English speaking. Nice comfortable dining zone at the first floor. A bit expensive menu, but justified by “gourmet touch”: dishes are not simple in their recipes and decorations. Some of them - too much complicated with ingredients which in fact add nothing to taste, so as for my preference, better simplier but cheaper (I am not gourmand). Sea beach (thin sand), clean, located next to hotel. Sea was very wavy, very shallow bottom.

This is a nice hotel, right on the beach in Guardamar. The rooms are small-ish, but very well designed and pleasantly furnished. We had a great view of the beach. The front desk staff was excellent: professional, friendly, helpful. The breakfast buffet is definitely worth the money.

Lovely hotel with excellent views. Sometimes noisy due to nearby construction. Staff very friendly and all areas spotless. Air conditioning in room didn’t work too well. Information regarding dining options in room would be beneficial. Excellent views from sky bar.

Very nice hotel
Lovely hotel right on the beach, with pool and jacuzzi spa (costs extra but nobody told me that!). The staff were very friendly apart from the woman who checked me in as she was very abrupt in telling me my friend could not come to my room, help me with my bags etc I was clear my friend had her own place to stay but we were made to feel like we were trying to cheat in some way! The other desk staff were really accommodating and helpful, which made up for the rocky start.

Escape to Guardamar
Our second visit to this hotel, the location is perfect for walks along the beach. We stayed in a junior suite the bed was very comfortable the hotel is modern and clean.

Meridional magic!
Although Covid19 practices were in place they didn’t get too much in the way of us enjoying our stay. All the staff were very friendly and we would strongly recommend the hotel. PS also it’s only a 30 second walk to a fabulous beach! PPS plenty of lovely restaurants nearby too.

Great location Directly opposite the beach with a short pleasant stroll to the restaurants and bars. There are two restaurants at this hotel. We ate in both which are of good quality. In fact the gastrobar is exceptional. The staff are very friendly and helpful at this hotel. Our room and the public areas were spotlessly clean and we can’t wait to return.

The hotel was really nice, the only downside was the very short notice that the pool could not be used due to a wedding function. This was communicated via a note posted on the gate of the pool.

Great location and friendly staff - restaurant is worth a visit with "fusion tapas" Only issue is the car park charges 25 euros a day but there are spaces in adjacent streets.

Disappointing
The reputed Skybar was closed as were the local cafes and bars. On the outskirts of town so a 20 minute walk to any signs of life. The hotel itself had a modern clean feel to it but lacked atmosphere. Reception staff very friendly. Rooms need soundproofing.

Great Location beside the beach
Close to all amenities. Good car parking nearby. Very clean Beach. Shops, bars and resturants are all in easy walking distance. Beach is a stone throw away. Drive to Alicante and Airport is only 35 mins.

Firstly, I would like to say that I had read reviews of this hotel and seen a number of poor comments about hotel staff. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised to find that the staff were in fact friendly and helpful throughout our stay and enjoyed chatting to guests. That was until we came to check out, when we met the (male) manager for the first time. Unbelievably, this man has a position where he deals with the public! For no reason at all (other than to impress his female colleagues?) he was rude to the point of being utterly unbearable and kept us waiting for around 15 minutes for a simple check out procedure with no queries or outstanding items. Never known such treatment in our frequent and regular travels around the world.

I understand that it was me who didn’t attend you correctly the day of your departure. Enjoyable break and welcoming staff.
Enjoyable break again in this welcoming hotel in a quiet area of Guardamar, yet a few minutes walk from the busy town. Beds were comfortable compared with most Spanish hotels. Reception staff always had a smiling face and were most helpful.

Meridional Hotel
We went to this hotel as a family wedding was being held there. It was beautiful. The setting, the atmosphere and views just made the whole experience wonderful. The wedding meal at the hotel was fabulous. The hotel has a Michelin starred restaurant and the food and service was amazing. My one area for improvement would be the breakfast coffee machine. It looks dated and totally needs replaced. Other than that one minor detail, we loved our stay at this hotel.
