Pros: no es la primera vez que me ubico aquí. Me gusta su ubicación y servicio
Cons: algunos miembros del personal en su trato con el público. Gente mas amable y/o atenta desde la comunicación telefónica hasta la sonrisa
Location: no tuve tiempo de pasear
excelente ubicacion, buenos precios y muy cerca de instituciones y centros icónicos como el Palacio Nacional, Catedral Metropolitana, Portal del comercio entre otros

Pros: The man at the front desk arranged a taxi for me for the following morning. He saved me alot of grief.
Cons: It was advertised on Expedia that this hotel is near the airport and has an airport shuttle which is not true (no shuttle and not near the airport).
Location: Didn't have enough time, just there for one night.

My stay at this hotel was one of the best, than any hotels. I will definitely recommend to anyone who want to save, and feel like you are actually in Guatemala. .. i loved it and will go back gain.

Pros: The staff was very friendly
the bath towels and sheets were not very clean. The sink, the toilet and the shower were always slow to drain. The bathroom had a window to the inner hallway of the hotel, which was very uncomfortable.

Location: In the middle of it all.
If your looking for glitz and glamour this may not be it. But if you'd like a comfortable safe stay with an extremely polite helping staff book it.

Very unhappy and discourage to much noise early in the morning, the room to stuffy and hot The stuff needs to be more cordies and attentive. The restorant very poor service.

Charming old-school hotel with minor flaws

I stayed two nights with my girlfriend. The hotel has a classic style like you'd see in old movies, with a shabbiness that mostly just adds to the charm. It worked for me anyway. There are nice touches like the two guys playing a kind of vibraphone, really quite beautifully, during breakfast. My biggest problem was that staff come round at around 8.30am to see if you want your room cleaned or have laundry, and the second morning actually began unlocking the door. This is pretty uncool. A lot of reviews mention the rooms are noisy, but if you stay in a hotel in the centre of Guatemala City, what do you expect.
