Nice hotel, bad overall experience

Pros: Pretty lobby, nicely furnished rooms, owner knowledgeable about local sights
Hotel lobby was very pretty and the owner, Paula was helpful in advising us about the local attractions and restaurants. However, I only gave the hotel a rating of two due to several disappointments we faced while there. Firstly, we arrived with several perishable items, and Paula advised that there was no way to have them refrigerated. She wanted to charge us for a small bag of ice. The items were vital for us, and luckily her kitchen staff had no problem refrigerating them. Additionally, while the room was comfortable and well furnished, albeit slightly run down, we did notice a dead roach on the floor. Upon departure, we wanted to pay our balance using a credit card, but Paula informed us that she only accepts cash and incidentally her credit card machine just broke. We didn't have cash on us, and being that we booked via Expedia we were never informed of the no cash rule. After twenty minutes of telling her that we had no access to such a large amount of cash, she tried her credit card machine again and it worked.

Nice Riad outside of Medina area

Pros: Great breakfast, very charming pool and Hammam area. Mostly quiet area.
Cons: Roof area needs new furniture. Originally said they would take credit card, but then demanded cash, meaning we had to run to ATM.
Location: Cab ride to Medina, 30 D or so. Couple of nice restaurants in the area.
Since we were arriving late into Marakkech, wanted a place that would not be hard to find, could fit 3 people, sinmce we were traveling with my daughter, and had some charm. This spot hit the bill.

An excellent and spacious Riad only minutes away from the heart of Marrakesh but far enough away for the frenzy of the medina. Excellent staff and owner who are available whenever you need them (nigh or day) and made the stay memorable and laid-back – a special thanks to Hassani who made the stay extra special. The breakfast is just right you get you started first thing before any excursions or sightseeing. I highly recommend the having at least one meal at the Riad, as this was undoubtedly some of the best food we ate in Marrakesh. I think the Riad is best suited for couples unless you have the whole place to yourself (a group of 8 lads was probably a bit too noisy for the other residents). Highly recommended A++

Pros: La disponibilité et la gentillesse du personnel
Cons: le coin piscine mériterait un rafraichissement (matelas serviettes) la propriétaire m'a dit que ces améliorations étaient planifiées au printemps.
Location: Quartier calme, néanmoins restaurants dans les environs. A moins de 10 min en taxi de la Médina pour environ 1 € ( pour taxis avec compteur)
Attiré par cette petite structure nous avons été très satisfaits de notre séjour. nous avons particulièrement apprécié la disponibilité et la gentillesse du personnel qui met tout en oeuvre pour que vous passiez un séjour agréable et détendu. je recommande la spa ou nous avons bénéficié du hamman et d'un massage particulièrement professionnel. Invité par une famille marocaine pour les repas nous n'avons pas eu l'occasion de tester les talents de la cuisinière.

Riad correct dans l'ensemble excepté que l'on vous court après le matin lorsque vous sortez en famille pour vous demander de payer alors que vous restez plusieurs jours et que le séjour est déjà payé...

jai eu loccasion de sejourner a la villa amira avec ma mere et mon fils de 9 ans;accueil super agreable et tres conviviale;personnel très chaleureux,souriant et discret.l ensemble de la villa et la chambre très propre.avec une decoration parfaite.endroit idéal pour se reposer a 5minutes en taxi de jemmah el fnaa!bref,j'y retournerai car nous avons passé séjour inoubliable!villa amira est un lieu ou on se sent comme une princesse.

Wunderbares Hotel zum Wohlfühlen! TOP!

Man weiß gar nicht wo man anfangen soll...! Der Service und das Personal sind unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend! Kein Wunsch bleibt unerfüllt! Man erfährt Hilfestellung, wenn man sie benötigt und wertvolle Tipps. Von Ausgehtipps über Autovermitung bis hin zur Routenplanung! Hier wird sich wirklich gekümmert und der Gast ist König! Das Hotel ist ein Kleinod der Ruhe, man kann im Spa, am Pool oder auf der fantastischen Dachterrasse entspannen. Hervorragende Küche! Mit dem Taxi ist man bequem in wenigen Minuten in der Altstadt oder bei den Einkaufspassagen der Neustadt. Die Zimmer sind herrlich eingerichtet wie in einem Traum aus 1001 Nacht und sauber. Es gibt fantastisches Shampoo, Duschgel sowie Körperlotion im Bad (Sense de Marrakech). Danke an alle im Amira, dass ihr meine Aufenthalte in Marrakech immer zu einem wirklichen Urlaub werden lasst! Ihr seid super! Ich komme bestimmt wieder!

Hotel Amira et Spa - langt væk fra alting

Hvis du skal fra hotellet og ind til byens centrum (el Fna) er et taxa nødvendig - og koster mellem 20-50 Dirham. Ikke alt personalet taler engelsk, så franskkundskaber er en fordel. Lækkert spa område og søde mennesker. God morgenmad, OK rengøring og pæne værelser.
