I had a great time on Lamai Beach! Pavilion was v nice. I loved my room with the plunge pool. It gave me more room and access to outside on ground floor. Awesome! Bar was nice. Bartenders are sweet. All the staff makes a big effort! Def would stay again. They need to replace the outdoor lounge chairs!

Have no dislikes about accomodation or staff. Reception staff very helpful! Was a perfect stay, one to remember! Decor modern but also traditional and just beautiful surroundings/gardens. Loved the pool/ gym facility. Restaurants food delicious, service fantastic. Beach clean. Stay relaxing.

Very highly recommend this resort and it deserves to be a 5 star. This was our second time at Pavilion Samui Resort and we loved it. We'll go back because of the amazing hospitality - the breakfast and Food/beverage service is amazing and the F&B manager and staff are excellent. It's a beautiful beach area with a great massage place nearby and there's shopping too. Lamai beach is not as seedy and there are a lot of young families at the resort and also young people and couples. It's good for those looking for a tranquil relaxed place.

Great location with amazing staff. Very comfortable and enjoyable stay. First time to Koh Samui and we found this hotel to be walking distance to all the restaurants and night markets. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The front desk staff who checked us in and out are extremely rude. At check out when we were double checking if any privileges from our membership booking applied, he literally lied to on our face saying discount has been applied which it has not according to all the receipts that i go through on the spot. After that in told him he shall just be honest instead of making it up. He didn’t even apologise and was rushing us to pay! Without even a good bye or thank you which is extremely unusual in thailand as this country has been my second home for over 20 years. Stingy on room amenities too, need multiple requests on basic items like tooth brushes and tooth paste. Terrible gym facilities, lack of equipment and maintenance. Looks likes it’s from the 80s.

Its my third time staying at the Pavilion and its great! A couple of ways it could be improved room wise (Grand Villa): 1) Better lighting in the room - its very dark. 2) Some sort of bead head - there isn't one which makes it impossible to sit up in bed say to read a book or watch a film. 3) Storage wise, there are no drawers, so other than the wardrobe there is no where to unpack your clothes into. Food wise, the breakfast included is the same every day which is a bit repetitive and boring. Vegetarian food options are also a bit limited.

Room was great with a tub on the balcony and comfortable beds. Good selection at breakfast, and right on the beach. Staff were knowledgeable and accommodating. We left very early on our checkout day, before the restaurant opened, and they arranged for a take-away breakfast for us (without us having to ask).

Good position at the beach in a lively but not too manic area. Breakfast good & attentive, friendly staff. Room quite nice but unhappy with our balcony position with no view of anything [over staff entrance].Lighting in the room was poor and the wardrobe hooks too high! Excellent fridge. Comfortable bed.

The property is right on the beach although the majority of rooms do not have a view. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the daily breakfast was good with plenty of choice. It was the same every day so if you were staying for a longer time it might become boring. For 3 to 4 days it was fine.

Generally good but plunge pool not usable
We had a three night stay here and were upgraded from deluxe to a plunge pool room, which meant we were on the ground floor of a two storey structure with an enclosed patio, and I am guessing above us was a deluxe with a tub. Even though the room was south facing the sun didn’t hit the patio area due to the close proximity of the villa across the enclosure (3 to 4 metres close), which rendered the plunge pool a total waste of space as simply not warm enough to enjoy. The patio and the plunge pool even though enclosed lacked privacy due to the room above as well as the villa directly opposite. The beach front area was picturesque and well designed. The hotels location in the heart of Lamai

We were pleasant surprised that the hotel put Happy Birthday flowers on our bed and a birthday cake and card for my wife on her birthday. The hotel made efforts to find out from my wife's passport during check in registration and gave us the surprise. The breakfast spread was good. We enjoyed our breakfast with soft music and waves beating the beach during our 4-nights stay. We will definitely recommend it to our friends

The service was awesome ...we were in a low season though they are very children friendly and while eating someone of the stuff would entertain our baby boy :) There are many steps to enter and exit the hotel an no ramps ...so we had to lift manually the stroller every time we went in or out

Leaning on the edge of the infinity pool staring out to sea...staff are friendly and helpful, helped contact a our and car hire. Some of the beach has rocks, but it's a big beach and only fell over them in one place. Lots of beach dining - go out on the beach and turn right, then tke your pick. Walk to the end for a beer at sundown on the rocks above the beach. Wifi is patchy at the pool, but good in the rooms. Maybe pooltime is a time to disconnect with a book. I'd go back!

The. Beach front location was great, and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only issue I had was the shower. I could not regulate the temperature it was either too hot or too cold. And the shower head would always twist against the wall. So general use was very difficult.

The location of the resort is great, its in Lamai , so it is away from the hustle bustle Chewang, so the beach area is less crowded. The rooms are really nice, service is great, staff are super helpful and friendly. Food in restaurant is awesome. Good hotel for both family or couple.
