Enjoy sweeping 180 degree views of the Gulf and Bay from this West end unit on the top floor of the Dunes. Free wireless internet access. This condo is designed to sleep 9 people comfortably. The bedrooms feature a King bed in master bedroom with private full bath and smart TV and a Queen Bed in 2nd bedroom with separate entrance to shared full bath. This room also has a smart TV. The third bedroom features a bunk bed with a twin over full. The living room has a sleeper sofa, so this unit sleeps 9 total.

The full sized kitchen is perfect for meal time. With a dining table for 4 and bar stools for 3 at the kitchen bar, 7 can sit and eat comfortably. There is also a table for 4 on the patio. For your convenience, this condo has every appliance you might need while on vacation, including a blender, toaster, dishwasher, and full size washer and dryer.

The living area has comfortable furniture to relax on and enjoy the beautiful western views and a larger flat screen smart TV. It also has a sofa sleeper. The condo is equipped with several board games, card games, puzzles and books for a little extra entertainment.

Bring binoculars and see the ships sail into the Port from your balcony. Don’t forget to watch for ""The Green Flash"" as the sun sets each evening over Dauphin Island to our West! There is a water view from EVERY window and exterior door! Bring your bicycles to ride in our gated neighborhood, or make the 1 mile trip to historic Fort Morgan. The Dauphin Island Sea Lab and Estuarium (featuring large aquariums filled with native sea life) is a short ferry ride away and is a favorite for children. The excitement of Gulf Shores including The Wharf, Waterville, a zoo, the Hangout, and outlet shopping is just up the road. The outdoor enthusiast will love the proximity to golfing, charter fishing and shrimping, kayaking, paddle boarding, jet skiing, nature trails and of course swimming!

Great Stay
We really enjoyed our stay at The Dunes. It is really far from the business of Gulf Shores, which was perfect for our relaxing vacation. The condo was spacious and perfect for our family of 5. The beach was about a 5-8 min walk with extremely slow kids.

We couldn’t ask for a better place. Beautiful kitchen and view. We didn’t go to the beach, but the view was amazing. Pool onsite was great! Kids loved being able to swim inside and out. Thanks so much!!

A Little Down Time
Dunes 709 was a great place for us to enjoy little down time after our visit to New Orleans. The view was beautiful. The condo was well equipped, quiet, and clean. We enjoyed walking on the beach, relaxing by the pool, and exploring historic Ft. Morgan.

Fort Morgan sanctuary
This property sits on the 7th floor of condominium, on the corner facing not only the gulf coast, but mobile bay, and fort Morgan itself. The views are spectacular, we did not get to see a sunset but I can imagine those would be amazing from your balcony, as watching a storm roll in from the gulf was just that amazing. You can hear all the wildlife and ocean from your balcony as well. The beach is about 200yds away and there is a walking path or a driving path with limited parking about 50yds from the beach. There is a nice indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub as well. You are 2 minutes from the dauphin island ferry and 3 minutes from historic fort Morgan. Your are 15 minutes from the hustle and bustle of busy orange beach. The condo itself is nice but as others have stated it could use a few updates. The washer does sound like it’s taking off when it spins but it gets clothes super wrung out and they dry quickly in the very hot dryer. There are three balcony doors with a gorgeous view of the ocean and bay from the main living are and master bedroom. The cooking pans have seen better days and could use replaced but still cooked delicious just caught fish and shrimp from a fish market about 7min away. Overall if you are looking for a quiet stay away from orange beach with quick access to dauphin island and views that can’t be beat, this is your place!

I highly recommend the bathrooms be updated and tv remotes needs to be one only instead of 2 remotes
It would be helpful if when booking to be asked will there be any elder family members be in our group. So we could rent a room on lower levels and with proper accessible for the handicap. Otherwise, everything else was wonderful.
