Cons: all the above.

Great pricePosted Jul 23, 2015
Pros: The price can't be beat.
Cons: Curtains that don't block the air conditioning unit if you close them all the way to shut out the outside lights.
Location: It is a short drive away from the beach, and beach area attractions.
The price on this hotel and its proximity to the beach was really great. Compared to the cost of beach side hotels, this was half as much and a quick drive away. For the price the facility was very nice. Nothing fancy, but everything was clean and in good shape.

You Get What You Pay For, I GuessPosted Jul 6, 2015
Pros: The price and location.
Cons: The T.V. The bathroom - at least the sink.
Location: It was near all the fun stuff to do at Gulf Shores. I liked the location.
Just to be clear, our stay was fine. The room size was large - it was a two double bed room. However, the beds were rather small for two people. The room was clean. The t.v. was a 19" picture tube t.v. - served the little purpose that it had as we weren't in the room much. The bathroom was small and the sink was tiny. No vanity, just a very small sink. Again, not a big deal, just not what I expected. The window unit a/c was sufficient to keep the room cool. The staff was very nice. If you're looking for an inexpensive way to stay near Gulf Shores beach (2-miles away), then this is the place for you. If you're looking for fancy or more amenities, then this is not for you. Overall it was okay.

Adorable hotel!!Posted Jul 2, 2015 on Hotels
My husband and I - and our 3 children- came to Gulf Shores for my husband's daughter's wedding. We only stayed @ Country Hearth Inn for a total of 3 nights, but we all found it to be a wonderful place to stay. This adorable hotel is in a nice area, is about 1 mile from the beach, AND our kids loved that the miniature golf/go cart/arcade was right across the street! We stayed in the suite and we were all happy with how much space we had! The room was clean and smelled fresh. Also, the beds and linens were very comfortable. We can't say enough good things about the hotel staff! They were all pleasant, helpful, and professional! We defiantly would recommend Country Hearth Inn to anyone! For short stays, I'm sure we will stay there again! I will say, for a family staying for a week or longer, a condo would be a better option. Also, this hotel does not have a pool. We spent most of our time at the beach or other places, anyway - so, it didn't really matter. Gulf Shores is AWESOME!!

Good hotel for a familyPosted Jun 29, 2015 on Hotels
The staff here is very friendly. It was nice and clean with plenty of hot water. The Water was rough coming out of the shower head. It was only 5 minutes away from the beach. We had pretty a spacious room with 2 beds and a kitchenette. The beds and pillows weren't the most comfortable. Also the digital tv channels sometimes wouldn't pick up and I had little cell service. The hotel doesn't have a pool or hot breakfast but that didn't bother us since we don't ever use those ammentities anyway. I would stay here again but it wouldn't be my first pick.
