The room was just ok it was sufficient for our stay but not very comfortable and dated.

ok but need to spray for bugs

Bug crawled on me in bed and need to wash bedspread or sheets....something had a really dirty smell

Halls smelled of urine and smoke

Pros: Stayed one night
Cons: Smell
Pool was dirty. Halls smelled of urine and smoke. No other impression. Receptionist was nice.

You get what you pay for...

While the customer service was awesome, the rooms were not as awesome. One night my husband turned on the light in our room to look for something, only to find a Roach crawling over my head. The carpet needed to be cleaned and the door gave us a really hard time getting inside. The price was definitely affordable and the location was great. We were walking distance from the mall and minutes from the beach. It was definitely no holiday or Hampton inn, but it was bearable.

Only problem is that your room will not be cleaned daily. Everyday but one from our 7 day stay we had to take used towels washcloths to office to get clean ones We made the bed daily except one which we stripped the bed ourselves on day 5 and had to make a special request to have the room cleaned! Staff in office and breakfast area were excellent! Good breakfast daily.

Inexpensive Hotel across from outlet mall

Pros: We liked the price and the free breakfast.
Cons: Really needs to be updated.
Location: The location was great. It was only a few miles away from the sports complex, and 9 miles from the beach.
We stayed in this hotel because it was close to our soccer tournament. We were disappointed in the condition of the rooms. There was something smashed into the carpet that looked gross. The ceiling over the shower was peeling off, and we saw a couple of bugs.

Good place to stay for the price!

We had a pleasant experience at the ecolodge. The pool and hot tub was nice, but it could have been a bit cleaner of course. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, but the floor was in need of a good shampoo. Overall good place to stay at a great price. Would stay again.

Bug Infested

The carpet in the hotel need to be replaced asap. The first room was infested with bugs! Bugs was on the sheets when I put the comforter back. I called the front desk and was moved to a better room. I was disappointed in the housekeeping. I complained that the room was not vacuumed in the entire stay which was four days. The spa was inoperable at the time. Did not get repaired while staying.

I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your stay. I will look into the issues with housekeeping and the condition of the carpet in your room. Unfortunately it is love bug season here on the Gulf Coast. This area battles it every year. I do have a technician coming to fix the jets this week. But again I am very sorry things were not to your standards and hope you will give us another try in the future.

Great hotel with friendly staff

I was hesitant about booking due to reviews but I am so glad I picked econo lodge. Great place and I will keep this hotel in mind for the future. Every One was so friendly. Very clean rooms. Convenient. Overall a super place to stay. We enjoyed our stay
