When my guest and I entered our room we were met with garbage on the floor , hair in the tub, the passed guests room keys still in the room and Dirty pillows and sheets. We called down to the desk for help. The man at the desk was apologetic but explained that all the maid staff had left already. He came up to the room and changed our sheets and pillows which we had to assist. Staff was nice but the rooms were disgusting

Our first night we noticed the beds were a bit sandy. It’s a beach town so we looked past it. Wasn’t until I pulled the sheets up a bit further the second night that a pair of someone else’s socks fell out the bottom on the bed. They didn’t change the sheets! That is not something I can look past. It’s disgusting and unacceptable!

Property is not clean or maintained. Our room was not ready on time or even hours after. We arrived at 6pm and it was not ready. It actually was not even cleaned when we were able to check in. There were cotton balls and Kleenex’s on the floor. Handprints on the mirror (all over) a dirty t shirt in the pull out bed, and hair in the tub. Breakfast had nothing by 8:00am. Completely out of everything including plates.

Check in was great. Staff was friendly. Our room however was not clean. There was a cotton ball on the floor, along with Kleenex’s. There was someone’s shirt on the pull out bed. Not one of ours. Like a past guests. The mirror in the bedroom area had multiple handprints on it, covering the whole thing. Not a great first impression since the room was not ready at 6pm when we arrived and we had to go to dinner to wait for it to be finished being cleaned

Property was alright. Bed was not overly comfortable for a 3 night stay. We typically have good luck with Fairfield Inn properties. The pool was out for renovation which we did not learn until check in. It was raining over half our trip so we were left with the work out facility for entertainment. Very small fitness center but it worked. We were extremely disappointed with the pool being closed. We would not have booked at this facility if we would have known. ( Booking through Expedia vs direct with Marriott ) Beach access was a nice walk. Also convenient location for grocery store and essentials. Hotel renovations left the elevator floors filthy. Likely will not be booking here again.

Average but sufficient
The stay was average. Disappointed in that did not know until checking in that the hotel was under renovation. I had pre paid via Hotels.com with my reward so could not change. This is prob not hotel’s fault. The room was clean and adequate. No fancy frills. Not a bad place and would stay again.

Was told day before we could check in by 3. Arrived around 3 and was told 20 minutes. Came back around 4:30 and was told a few hours. There was a waiting list. Checked again at 5:30, room still not available. Was told by front desk clerk they would take $40 off the room for the inconvenience. Also heard them tell other waiting guests this. When we checked out the next day, no discount was applied to our bill. I asked the current desk clerk and he didn’t know what I was talking about and said he would check with the other managers. Still never received the discount. Hotel was nice, staff had some major communication issues across departments.

The bathroom had mold all on the walls, the ceiling, and around the tub. The beds were very uncomfortable, the iron didnt really work, the ironing board was broken, the balcony furniture was dirty and spider webs were everywhere on the balcony as well. The furniture . I never will stay there again.

This is my 3rd time visiting this hotel. Now it is dated, fan in bathroom didnt work and we saw 2 roaches in the bathroom upon arrival. Pool was great, front desk was great, housekeeping sucked but we had a good time at the beach!! Breakfast was average

The hotel had a moldy feel about it. Our a/c kicked on and off non-stop. It made it difficult to sleep with it on and off the whole night. The food area felt dirty. I got water from the juice machine and it had stuff floating in it.
