🎇 Nine of us stayed here for a week. FANTASTIC place! The elevated beach boardwalk with the sitting area and warm water shower/washdown was icing on the cake! Will definitely book again! ❤️

7 adults plus dog. booked based on beachfront, pet friendly and all 5 star reviews. Did not disappoint! From the moment of booking until checkout the communication with host and owners outstanding. Detailed info/instructions sent periodically prior to vacation at appropriate times. location 20 minutes to main stores in G.S. This made for less crowds in area. The community is beautiful, quiet, very family oriented. Walkable area. Home is large with open kitchen family area and the floor plan for bedrooms allowed for a lot of privacy.Very well equipped from kitchen to beach toys and more.nice addition was beach canopy specifically for house professionally put up. wonderful home and area made for great relaxing vacation. would not hesitate to return.

Amazing!!!!
First time on Ft Morgan and we have found our new spot! The beach is amazing and the house had everything we could ask for. The bunk room was perfect for the kids. The deck is so big and plenty of chairs. Having access to all the beach toys was great too!

Our Thanksgiving at Susan Sandcastle 1
My family (all 21 of us) couldn’t have asked for better accommodations during the holiday. We were greeted with an immaculately clean home. A bonus touch was a gift basket which turned out to be the savior of our Thanksgiving - the “basket” was an aluminum tray which could hold our turkey while it baked. The one we brought was too small. I have only good things to say about the beach house and will gladly recommend it for anyone wanting an affordable getaway on the beach at Gulf Shores.

Great stay
Stayed for a week in February- weather was great. The home is fully equipped- has everything you would need. The location is amazing- saw dolphins every day from our patio - and the sunrise’s and sunsets made for a perfect trip. We will be back next year.

You can hear the waves
We wanted a warm-weather getaway on a beach to escape the midwestern cold, and this house was exactly what we needed. We fell asleep each night to the soothing sound of the gulf water hitting the shore, and woke up to sunshine streaming in from all of the windows. Both decks were wide, deep and well stocked with chairs. The kitchen was supplied with as extensive a supply of appliances, utensils, plates and glasses as any place we've stayed, and it had plenty of places to sit, eat and talk. We were fortunate to find such a wonderful place that allowed our dog to be with us on our vacation - we'd happily stay here again.

We were in the rental over Christmas. A beautiful Christmas tree was put in for us.
We fixed every meal in but one that we ate at Tacky Jacks. The house is so equipped it was great. Our four grandsons loved the sandbar straight out from the house. Five stars!!!!!

The house is great. It has plenty of space. The kitchen has many dishes and cookware. The view of beach is great. The deck has great seating and the tables outside on top deck and bottom make great spots for morning coffee and sunrise. The house is not close to any stores so it is a nice secluded part as lo g as you get what is needed as you go in.

House and Beach location were the best! Quite lovely beach, big back porch made for viewing the Emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico,, or of coarse a few step to the sandy beach. Beach chairs with beach towels, all the kitchen items needed for your meals, two refrigerators, this unit and owner making it easier for us. Thanks so much for a great 10 days

Nice and relaxing stay
We were very pleasantly surprised by Susan's Sand Castle. The directions and access were super easy, and Susan was a joy to deal with. The house itself was open and roomy, and there were a huge number of kitchen items and utensils that, well, we never used. But they were there! The walkway to the beach was super convenient, and the view was amazing. This part of the area is not very busy and very quiet, at least during our non-peak visit. We ate out every night, and went to the Sandy Bass and Tacky Jack's several times each as there aren't too many choices. It is about a 20 minute drive to get back to town to more restaurants, so if you want variety and to eat out, it can be a bit of a haul. But, if you want to cook for yourselves and just go out for an occasional meal, this is a fantastic location. 2 fridges help make sure you have the space you need, a separate ice maker to keep your drinks cool, and plenty of beach to enjoy. We would definitely visit here again.

Roomy house on the beach
Our family (3 couples; 5 kids 3-12) enjoyed our week here. We had plenty of room, particularly in the spacious kitchen. We really liked the back deck area, with lots of chairs for lounging, and the close proximity to the beach. Also, we appreciated the quick response we had to a few minor issues. Great house for a family group.

Amazing!
I am so glad we chose this property for our vacation. It was definitely the right choice for us. Plenty of room to spread out, amazing location right on the beach, and awesome AC if the heat becomes too much outside. I was assuming that the AC would have a hard time keeping up... nope! It will get a cool as you want it. Overall a wonderful place to stay. If you're considering this place, yes, you should rent it.

Very accommodating and great location!
We had 7 adults and 4 children with us and the rooms were perfect for our group. Dana was very accommodating on any little thing we needed and very prompt. The boardwalk to the beach was awesome! With everything going on right now we opted to do our grocery shopping and do our own cooking every night so I cant really speak for everything else but it was exactly what we wanted. Great time, great experience & great memories made here!

Great beach front property perfect for large gatherings
Great house with plenty of room inside and out. Property is well maintained and has everything you need for a great beach vacation. The house is well appointed, comfortable beds, furniture and amenities Dana, the property manager was very responsive and made everything very simple. We've stayed at this property 2x and had the same experience both times.. Ft. Morgan is a little bit of a trip to things in Gulf Shores such as restaurants and shopping, but that is a great plus when it comes to the beach crowds, which are significantly less. We even had our own little air show one morning from a member of the Blue Angels flying team performing maneuvers right in front of the house! This property is definitely everything and more represented in its ad.

Perfect in every way!
Fabulous home! Gorgeous beachfront setting! Spectacular sunrises AND sunsets! Wonderful manager! We couldn't have asked for a better experience! Over New Year's, our family of 15 traveled from 4 states to come together to celebrate our mother's 70th birthday and our parents 40th anniversary. Everything was perfect! Dana was so attentive and quick to answer any questions we had. By the end of the trip, she felt like part of the family! Excellent Home and Location
Rented this property for our family vacation and we were not disappointed. The home is right on the beach and perfect for our special needs son. The deck was beautiful, both of them and the ramp to the beach was an added bonus to get him back and forth from the beach. The home is large and gave us all space when we needed it. The beach was never crowded which we enjoyed. We absolutely loved this home and will be back. Dana was spectacular and made sure our stay was what we wanted and made sure we had everything we needed. Beautiful Home, Wonderful Time
Our family had an amazing time. The house was beautiful and Dana was so helpful. We were celebrating our parents 50th anniversary with family and the house was just perfect for this. Dana even brought by a gift for them. We had a couple of small issues and they were taken care of immediately. It was amazing to be able to stay so close to the water and have a canopy provided. We will definitely stay here again!!!

Awesome!
We loved staying at your beach house. It had everything we needed and then some. We especially loved the tent that was already set up on the beach. The porch was great for outside dining and watching the sun rise and set each day. The Blue Angels put on a great show too. We didn't have a drop of rain and were able to enjoy many hours at the beach. We can't wait to come back to your sandcastle again!! We did discover a new place to eat in GS- CoastAL- it's by the Zoo and Tiki Golf. There's also a yummy ice cream shop there. Thanks for all your personal touches. Dana was of immense help and kept us very informed.

Awesome family experience
The home is beautiful and perfect fo our sized family and had most everything we needed or wanted. And for anything else, the property manager, Dana, was amazing! Dana was awesome throughout the entire process and I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. She sent is pictures of things we wondered about before our arrival, she came out a few times to deliver little extra things that helped our vacation. She is the ultimate in client satisfaction. We have 6 adults and 4 small children in the family so the bed situation and layout was ideal. The ramp to the beach makes it so easy. No steps to worry about. We rented a golf cart and the kids really enjoyed that. You could walk to the pool but the cart made it more fun. My grandkids loved ‘chasing’ the ice cream man in the cart each day. There is no home that will be ‘perfect’ for everyone’s needs but this one in addition to Dana’s attention made it as close to perfect as could be.

Perfection at its finest!
We held our wedding ceremony and reception here and it was the perfect place! They have absolutely thought of everything we could have needed and wanted! We were able to sit back and enjoy the week with our family who all live away from us. In fact, my dad has already decided that we will be coming back here the next time we are able to do a big family vacation! Working with Dana (the property manager) and the Keen’s has been nothing but a pleasure!

Clean, beautiful, great layout, great location, and amazing attention to detail.
What a great place to celebrate a high school graduation! The home is beautiful and nicely decorated. Everyone had their own space, but plenty of gathering areas. The layout is perfect! The home is large and impressive, but comfortable and cozy at the same time. The beach is gorgeous, and the view is unbeatable! We had a couple of questions when we arrived and the response time of the property manager was amazing! We felt so at home and enjoyed every minute of our stay. We will definately be back!

Everything we expected
The trip was designed as a 4-day Christmas getaway for a trio of sisters and their families. It was a way for them to reconnect and disconnect from the pressures of their daily grind, so the property and its amenities needed to exceed expectations....and it did. The property had everything needed from cooking utensils, to linens, to entertainment choices for the young and old. Susan and Jerry thought of everything and were instrumental in making this a memorable experience. Even the dolphins made an appearance. Highly recommended for people of all ages, regardless of the time of year.

We rented susans sand castle 1 for our daughters wedding ! My husband and I were so blessed !! The house was beautiful and had anything you needed to make your stay perfect ! Her wedding was on the day hurricane nate was to come ashore that night , we had plans to hold wedding and reception under the house if rained out. We stayed at Susan's sandcastle with 7 adults and 5 kids ( 2 5yrs and 3 3yrs). Loved every moment of our stay. Had a lot of fun catching crabs at night and get up early taking walks to look for seashells. The hurricane never made it to us but we did get a couple of days of 30-40 mph winds but the weather was amazing. The only bad thing to happen was I guess the storm pushed in a lot of jelly fish to shore so we had to steer clear for a few days but Mother Nature has a mind of its own. The house was well stocked with everything one could need. Had more than enough beach toys for the kids and having the ice machine was biggest hit for everyone. The house had enough space for everyone to have areas to escape for some down time when needed. Thank you so much Susan and Jerry for the hospitality and we look forward to coming back again to enjoy the beautiful Alabama coastline.

Great place for a family vacation. Beautiful setting in a well-appointed house.
The kitchen was the best supplied of any homes we have rented all over the USA & Europe in 20 years. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had prior to our visit & while we were there. The setting is beautiful. We enjoyed watching dolphins playing in the surf & the shrimp boats making their daily rounds. We were even treated to air manuvers by jets from Pensacola NAS two days. Were they Blue Angles? Thank you Susan & Jerry for sharing your wonderful slice of paradise with us.

Amazing views and great house!
We LOVED Susan's Sand Castle I. The house is large enough for everyone and the decks are wonderful! The large main deck is perfect for everyone and the private decks upstairs off the 2nd Master and Queen bedroom are perfect for some private time away from the rest of the family. The large teak table on the deck seats 12 and is a perfect place to start and end your day! We loved the large gas griddle on the deck also! The canopy on the beach is also great for getting some shade time! We had a few bad storms in the beginning of our stay and the canopy stayed just fine! Loved the private feeling of the beach also! The house had ample dishes and utensils. Loved the ice maker and extra refrig also! We did have to call a couple of times for minor things and Jerry and Susan sent someone right away to take care of us! Thank you Jerry and Susan for everything! We will definitely be back! What a great vacation!

Great spring break!
