Will not stay here again

Posted Mar 25, 2017
When I booked the hotel, the name was Magnuson Hotel and Suites so I was confused as to why I couldn't find it; then realized it was the Quality Inn. When we first went to our room, it seemed old and in need of updating. After walking on the filthy floor, my socks became black and extremely dirty, so I'm sure no one has ever cleaned the floors. Then when trying to take a shower, the was absolutely no water pressure at all so it trickled out of the shower head and faucet. This hotel desperately needs to be updated and some major TLC! I wouldn't recommend anyone stay here until it is overhauled.

Cons: Management
Management was very unprofessional. The door to one of the rooms would not lock (safety hazard). The room that did lock had roaches and a strong odor. The staff did not know how to reach management so that I could speak to them that night. The staff told me that they were all booked up but that the manager would give me a refund the next morning since one room would not . I understood the fact that they were completely booked and ask could maintenace come and fix the lock. They said no because he didn't live in the area! We then just decided to all stay in the safe room and get with management in the morning for the refund. The desk clerk came back and she all of a sudden found another room after everyone had settled. The other room did not have a microwave nor refrigerator but would be the same price! It was too late and everyone was settled. I told the clerk that and she said she understood and that the manager would give me my refund or put it back on my card in the morning. The next morning management was rude and also said that they would not give a refund even if the hotel was wrong. She said that only expedia could reimburse me, if there would be a reimbursement. This was my first and I pray last time booking a hotel online. I usually get my room once I reach my location after seeing the environment and meeting someone in person. I tried this once but I will not recommend the Days Inn Hotel to any business partners, employees, family members or friends. Lesson learned.

Furniture was worn but in process of renovating. Pool felt like was outdoors. Hot tub wasn't even warm. Otherwise was a great place.

Good location but leaves a lot to be desired.

Pros: Location
Cons: Almost everything as the room and breakfast go.
Location: About one mile from the beach and right off the main highway.
Room was clean but wreaked of chlorine bleach. Had to leave the exhaust fan on in the bathroom to clear the smell. Overall for the price the room was OK. The location is good fairly close to the beach and Foley. Had to get a replacement hair dryer from the front desk.

Pretty good.

Cons: Breakfast was pretty good. Beds don't have blankets.
Location: Walking to Gulf Shores Beach, shopping, restaurants from the hotel in 20 minutes.
Swimming pool hurts my eyes and smell from the Chemicals too much! Sauna was out of order and Spa don't have too strong bubbles enough.
