Execellent valuePosted Nov 9, 2015
Pros: I enjoyed the amenities - hot tub, pool, restaurant on-site, fire pit, etc...
Cons: Would be nice if they did give room upgrades since the hotel was basically empty because it was off season. It was still fine, just a nice to have.
Location: Location is fantastic! I like that it is in the Mount Crested Butte area, close to town, but even closer to the slopes!
This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel, and the experience was just as excellent the second time as it was the first. The rooms are clean and quiet. Josh from Elevations was outstanding. Courteous, helpful and just plain awesome ~ Personal thanks to Josh for making our stay most enjoyable!

Very comfortable hotelPosted Oct 26, 2015
Pros: Bed was very comfortable.
Cons: Hotel charges $20 per night for parking, which is very expensive.
Location: Apart from skiing, to do anything else nearby means to take a regular shuttle bus to downtown.
Although we stayed only one night, but we found the bed to be very comfortable, perhaps one of the most comfortable that we have ever experienced. Hotel staff was helpful. Food was good.

Awesome mountain HotelPosted Oct 14, 2015
Pros: The deluxe suite, the friendly people and the mountain view.
Cons: Maybe a bit cheaper parking??
Location: The location was nice at the base of the mountain--we came to relax and enjoy the peace and go downtown at night
Stayed at the Elevation Hotel for 3 nights with my cousin. It was a girls trip. Awesome place to stay. The room was a deluxe suite and had a view of the slopes. It was off season--October so not very busy around the hotel but we used the free shuttle bus service to downtown each night to go for dinner. Crested Butte has wonderful food. Every place we ate at was excellent. The price per night was very good for off season-although parking was an extra $20.00 per night. I have nothing to complain about. It was a peaceful and healing kind of trip. I would love to stay here again in the winter to experience a different season at this hotel. Beautiful place!

Nice room, but overall just ok.Posted Oct 6, 2015
Pros: The room was nicely arranged.
Cons: Get some decent towels and improve your restaurant appearance and menu.
We had a deluxe king room and it was very nicely sized and arranged, better than most hotel rooms. However, the towels were rough, almost like sand paper and very disappointing. Also the restaurant was dark and stark, with very strange and unappetizing lighting. The food we ordered in the evening was fine, but somewhat overpriced. The food at the breakfast buffet was cold and tasteless, but we didn't arrive until about 10:30 AM and it was about to close at 11:00 AM. Our room was an Expedia special at $137/night, but that did not include the $20/day resort fee and another $20/day parking fee, plus taxes of course -- so all is all it was ok, but not great.

Hotel itself was great but PARKING, TERRIBLEPosted Sep 30, 2015
Pros: The room was wonderful, very clean, very comfortable.
Cons: Parking and the breakfast buffet.
They charge $20.00 for parking every night and $20.00 every night for Association fee. Two out of the three nights arriving back at the hotel we drove around for at least a half hour to find a spot and the last night had to give our vehicle to the attendant to park it somewhere outside the parking garage.

Consistently good. Have been there several times.Posted Sep 30, 2015
Pros: Rooms are wonderful in terms of space, cleanliness, and decor!! Location is great.
Cons: Can't think of anything. Our several stays at The Elevation have been extremely satisfying.
Location: Wild flowers in the summer and the Aspens in the fall are superb experiences and all very conveniently located in and around Crested Butte.
Rooms are superb and the staff is excellent; very cordial and helpful. We come to Crested Butte as often as we can, but usually at least once a year and we always stay at The Elevation. The price point is exceptional for the quality of the room, service and location.

Excellent value! Friendly staff - "front desk" Dan was so friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a suite. Was quiet, clean, and a great location in Mt. Crested Butte! Would definitely recommend, and stay there again!

Pros: The restaurant on site was very nice (excluding the dogs on the patio that kept sniffing our plates)
Cons: 1. The refrigerator in the room was missing shelving in both the main body and freezer 2. The luggage rack was broken 3. LOTS of unruly dogs
Overall we were disappointed. It was clean that is the most positive thing I can say.
