Hotel was good

Hotel was good value for money. VERY helpful and friendly staff. It would have been great if there was a pool facility... Thank You guys!!

Great Value

Basic, but clean hotel with friendly staff, close to transportation. Unlike many other hotels in that price category, the rooms are air conditioned and they offer free wifi which was surprisingly fast. Well assorted breakfast buffet. Overall the stay was a positive experience.

Close to Galluswartentrain station

The room: It will remind you of a nice college dorm, minimum IKEA furnitures and mini fridge. Although the space is very comfortable. Don't expect too much of the amenities. Gym & Sauna: I'm glad they had a gym and sauna. Even though the machines are old and the sauna room was small enough for five or six people. It's better than nothing! Staff: Friendliness is passable. They will help you if you ask. And doesn't hurt to speak a little german if possible :)

Good location but can be noisy at times

Good location beside metro and tram. 15 min walk to big shopping mall with supermarket. Room size is good. Some train noise.

Avoid during trade fair ("Messe") times

Cons: Renovation (room) necessary, pricing strategy should not reach into rip-off territories.
I do like TRYP hotels for their style and excellent cost-perfomance. In Frankfurt, however, the experience becomes disappointing during messe times when their room prices multiply by the factor of 5 (!), as during my stay. While prices in Frankfurt shoot up during trade fairs anywhere, it seemed worse at the TRYP because a very basic hotel with small rooms in a run down location feels overpriced even more than paying high prices (or a little more) for a better hotel.

Great Location, Good for ppl at MESSE. WIFI NEEDS TO BE IMPROVED BIG TIME and THEY SHOULD OFFER AN OPTION OF STILL WATER INSTEAD OF JUST SPARKLING WATER AS THE COMPLIMENTARY BOTTLE.

Hotel didn't have sufficient hot water

The hotel was generally good except for the unforgivable fact that they said they didn't have a big enough boiler to maintain sufficient hot water.
