quiet place near the lake, good and bad..

Pros: clean, nice facilities .. typical Hilton.
Cons: yes, more benefits for hotel guests..
Location: near the city, not so far from tourist areas..
we stayed in the hotel for a few days with my little family. Very clean room and comfy beds, decent breakfast. about 15 minutes from the city train station. hotel is near the lake and has very good walking treks around. also has gym, pool etc. everything was good but they charge about $30 per person to use the pool. when i booked the hotel, it did not mention i have to pay to use the pool. the staff told me that because the outdoor pool is now open, they charge about $30 per person to use the pool each time. i mean each time... i have a little boy who likes swimming and for 2 days i visited the pool 3 times, and a family of 3 cost me $270 i total to use the pool.. once you out of pool and if you want to get back, they asked me to pay.. also if you want to use the sauna. it costs more.. i do not recommend the hotel if you have many children and who like swimming.. we travelled a long way from Australia and had to pay $30 just to swim in the pool per person?? good hotel and but it comes with extra

Fabulous staying for 2 nights.

Pros: Everything
Location: good without a car. Easy to catch a bus or taxi to those tourist attractions.
The room was generous size and clean. All the staff were nice and the location was perfect.

Plain hotel in great location

The hotel is somewhat aging and the rooms were fairly plain. Although Spring, the rooms got fairly hot and there was no air-conditioning. We had a fantastic concierge but the rest of the hotel was fairly average and suited more for conferences. The location on Bomum lake, however, was fantastic and led directly to the walking tracks.

Room looked old and not so clean. I had lake view which was truly nice. Had a hard time looking for "Do not disturb" sign.

Good to very good. Our buffet breakfast was tasteless and next time we will not eat breakfast there. Other food was good.

It's a Hilton.

Location: Location is central in the city but you need car, taxi or tour bus in this town to see the key sights in the outlying areas.
Clean and quite plush, just shy of a 5 star hotel. The restaurant selection was limited due to the closing of one of them on a Tuesday night. Breakfast was not included and a bit pricey for the offerings. Overall, quite a pleasant one night stay, however.

Excellent Facilities, Convenient Transportation

This Hilton is located a little distance ($13 by cab) from downtown Gyeongju. Busses numbers 10, 11 and 200, the busses for sightseeing and for downtown ($1.30) have stops that are 5 minute walk away. There are nice restaurants and coffee shops at the other side of a wide street. Coming in from Seoul to Singyeongju ( the KTX station for Gyeongju), we took Bus 200 which dropped us off right across the property. We were very pleased with our stay here. The cleanliness, the fitness facilities, the layout of our suite, the very comfortable bed, the pastry shop by the lobby, the free wifi, the helpful concierge were all top notch. We did not try the restaurants on the premises. Perhaps because one side of our suite was all glass, lighting in our room was on the dim side.
