The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We arrived before 3 and they were kind enough to let us check in. I will stay there again if traveling that way

It's close to where im working. Cold showers, not enough t.v's for the rooms. However I just needed a bed to sleep in and that was available.

I’m sorry you stay wasn’t more enjoyable, however if something was said I would of got you into another room for a hot shower we did come to find out an element in the water heater needed replaced. Sorry about that I hope you’ll give us a second chance in the future at a discounted room safe travels!

The room is clean, sheets were clean. Facilities is looking run down, probably the original carpet that was first installed when it was built. The shower in my room didn’t work. I could turn the water on but could not adjust temperature. Luckily it was already on a warm setting. Be warned, they say they’re pet friendly but when you check in they charge you $25 per pet, which they do not clarify on the website.

We are pet friendly not pet stupid! And it is on our website every hotel and motel charges for pets and a lot more than we do because I’ve checked. Peoples pets however well trained their owners say they are , are in a strange place and can be distrucktive and have accidents the owners don’t clean up after them we do. It was close to a jobsite. Wasn't the best motel but it was a decent place to stay.

The place was just old and out dated. It was somewhat cheap so i guess you get what you pay for. Not many other options in this area.

The sign to ring the bell for check-in was covered by decor and stuff on the counter. Waiting and knocking... The room was dingy and dark and in disrepair. There was what looked like a mouse poop on the bathroom counter. I had to get up from bed to try to cover the door cracks to keep the cigarette smoke from coming in. Couldn't figure out if it was in the hall or seeping in through the vents. It was loud and noisy all night...sounded like several rooms were having parties all night. The window opened to the parking lot which had the lights on all night and there were no black out curtains. Could not wait to leave.

I sincerely apologize if all of that really happened because that’s horrible, and I assure you if you would have brought any of this to my attention I would have fully accommodated you because why would you stay and tolerate any of that? Black mold on the ceiling of the bathroom, fan in bathroom also sounds like diesel engine. Sink handles kinda grubby. Bedroom was clean, top mattress seemed good, box spring covered in plastic patched with ductape. Overall kinda run down motel, but staff were very nice and bed was comfortable. Trains run by in the night which was kinda soothing but probably not great if you're a light sleeper.

I’m a through-hiker and I needed a shower and a bed for the night. Honestly, this place was exactly what I needed and I really, REALLY appreciated them letting me checkin early as I had no other options as was EXHAUSTED. The owners were extremely accommodating, the room was clean and the door to the room faced an indoor hallway rather than the parking lot, which makes me feel 1,000 times safer. My only complaint is that the key was very difficult to use. Don’t come here expecting it to be something it’s not and you’ll be completely satisfied. I will definitely be back during any of my future travels.

Smelly Room
The stay was terrible! The office clerk was not friendly at all. The area smelt like cigarettes smoke. The room was smelly, carpet is very very dirty! You can smell and taste the dust. The face cloth was stained. The towels were thin as paper. They only has one set of towels for two people staying for 2 days. The tub had mold around it. If I wasn’t there for my friends wedding, I would have slept in my car than in that smelling room. I will never book a room there again! Very sad. Thank you!

Worst hotel experience of my entire life
Stay away from this utterly disgusting hotel! I chose them based on affordability & because they advertised as dog friendly (no mention of an upcharge). They tried to add $30 to my $89 room fee for my 10# shihtzu and when I protested they dropped it to $25. I should have just left. The hotel was filthy. Hallway carpets terribly stained. My room carpet equally stained and had not even been vacuumed - there were huge crumbs everywhere from previous occupants. Beverage rings/dried stains on the bedside & bathroom surfaces. I wiped them down with a wet washcloth. Long black hairs on the bathroom floor. I couldn't get the TV/satellite to work, so the desk clerk came to my room to "fix" it. She asked where the 2nd remote for the satellite was. I told her there was no 2nd remote. She said she would locate one & bring it back. I never saw her again. The "free wi-fi" would not connect. Given the lack of 'customer service' on the TV, I did not contact the front desk. The old mattress was awful. And the room smelled strange. (More than the distinct odor of dog pee.) When I woke at 5 am, I had no running water. Could not flush the toilet or take a shower. No answer at the front desk. The outside doors into the hallways could not be locked. Anyone could walk in anytime, day or night, and the locks on the room door were flimsy. Not a single fire detector in sight anywhere. I left at 5 am. Tried to call management repeatedly all day but got no response to my messages.

I've stayed at the Amber Inn before but this time it seemed more "tired" than usual. There was a chair in my room that had a half-broken front leg and I could tell the cushion was broken. I left a note for maintenance about the chair, but did not see any staff while checking out to tell them also.

While I expected the hotel to show its' age, the faucet in the bathroom sink had very poor pressure and shot out the sides. While showering, the shower head popped off.

Amazing customer service. Clean rooms and building. Quiet and close to three gas stations including a Loves. No traffic noises which was a surprise. Very affordable rates !!!!!

The room was very affordable, large and had a fridge and microwave. It was dated as expected for a motel in this price range but it was clean and the lady working the front desk was very nice. There was coffee in the morning which is a real treat. McDonald's and gas station ⛽️ 1 minute away which is very convenient. It's right off the highway but it's not very load from the road and you really can't even hear the road when the ac is on lol

There really isn't a lot of choices in Bliss for a hotel. This is an OK place for needing a room for passing through. Don't expect an upscale room. Service wasn't the greatest but room sufficed.

when I arrived they said i didn't have a reservation so went to a different hotel. then today i noticed a charge for $85 on my card. I talked to the clerk today and she said yes I had a reservation and didn't show. She asked her husband and he told her that I didn't come in and what I said occurred didn't happen. supposedly they are looking at the videos of the day to verify what I said and did. If he said I had a reservation I would have stayed there.

It makes me sick to my stomach that you would write such things, we wash our sheets with bleach and soap every day! You were not in a king room and you never asked me for sheets, our building is old but very clean we pride ourselves on it! If you where so dissatisfied with our motel I would of happily refunded your money.

There is nothing good about this place. Drive a little further and find a better place. Bathroom sink ran all night. Room needed updating, parking lot needed paving. I could go on but you should get the picture of it by now. Don't be fooled by the pictures on the website, It's a dump

Be careful where you stay
When we got checked in, there was no power. No lights, fridge, air cond nothing. Found the breaker box just outside the room and reset the breaker. 15 minutes later no power again. Seems the only thing the owners want is for the property to be a cash cow. No repairs at all. The toilet also plugged up fast, 7 flushes later it worked. The only thing good about the motel is the folks working it. At least they came up with an adequate solution for our stay.
