Nice place to stay

Posted Jul 6, 2017
The hotel was fine and O would stay there again. But I was. It crazy about the location. There were several people loitering in the parking lot which made me uneasy.

Great stay for my visit.

Posted Jun 10, 2017
Pros: The location, adjoining diner, and friendly staff.
Cons: It looked as if they were working on the building but none of their work interfered with our stay. I have no recommendations.
Location: I was there for a college graduation and not to sightsee. I don't believe Hagerstown has a lot of things to do for families but the nearby towns do.
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. My family had been on the road for four days and had the best meal of the trip at the adjoining diner. I had great conversations with the front desk staff, especially the female manager. The staff was helpful and polite. The pool was a great bonus because my children were traveling with me. I would definitely stay here again. The location was great and easy to find. I would recommend staying here.

Well, the name was very hard to see at night - it has another name on the top of the hotel; Very frustrating. The condition was old but clean and fine for one night. Great price!

Tired property with no identity

Posted Apr 11, 2017 on Hotels
This hotel is making the transition from a Best Western to a Wyndam property. It was hard to find since the signage outside was for its local name. This info was not part of what Hotels.com provided. It is a tired property with dated furniture by the elevators and rugs. Our room had some improvements but can't speak for the rest. Nice front desk staff and an attached 24-hour restaurant. Breakfast food was overcooked and lacked flavor.

Not recommended.

First of all, there are no signs indicting Baymont Inn & Suites on the building. It says Grand Venice. Once we drove past it twice, I decided to go in and ask. Check in was fine. The room was a nice size. There was paint fumes in the room but we got used to it. The sounds from outside were very loud. The bed was very hard. We both woke up with a sore back. The pillows were kid sized and the towels were made of sandpaper. At check out, the clerk asked me how everything was, I did mention the hard beds. He told me they were pillow tops. I laughed because I said if they were pillow tops, someone must have smashed them down to nothing. I do not recommend this place whatever they call it.

Hard time finding hotel name on hotel was different than what our reservation was booked under, address was correct but without sign was confusing , Dated carpet, refrigerator was very noisy kept waking us up turning off and on all night, breakfast was good
