Comfortable

The hotel looks new. My check in was quick and without any problems. The room was in order and clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom had a shore instead of a tub. It had a good shower head. TV seemed small for the room but was good enough. I had all the supplies I needed in the kitchenette. Breakfast was good. There were plenty of options. The food was promptly refilled. I didn't use the pool and fitness center. My only complaint is the cleaning lady came three times the morning I checked out. Check out was noon. She started knocking on my door by 8:30 and came two more times after that. I felt rushed to leave.

We checked in at almost midnight. The front desk clerk greeted me by saying rudely "can I help you?" I had been driving all day and probably did not look my best. There was a dog in the hotel and we noticed later that it is a pet friendly hotel. My son has pet allergies. The room was large enough but the design seemed outdated. The continental breakfast was better than most but not the best we have ever had.

Nice But

A handsome facility, however, our stay was tarnished by our assignment to a smoking room notwithstanding our non-smoking confirmation. The hallway reaked of cigar smoke for the entirety of our two days and the room smelled like it had been napalmed by air fresheners and cleaning chemicals. Notwithstanding a complaint to this end, the staff made no effort to change the room assignment. Adding to this experience was the failure of the maid to show up anytime in our 48-hour stay. Really odd on several counts. Otherwise functional as far as facilities and accommodations

Great amenities and close to shopping, restaurants and the freeway; laundry on site. Breakfast quality needs improving; too many chemicals in the hot food.
