I booked this property while driving and very sick and didn’t realize they weren’t pet friendly and worked with me and charged me $50 per deposit. However, the halls were all stacked with air conditioners and the front desk called me at 10:40 to make sure I was checking out at 11. Which I had full intentions to. I was on my way out the door.

Rooms were clean but very outdated. Bad lighting. Water pressure in the sink was ridiculously low. No toilette seat cover. Only public restroom type seat. Very mediocre continental breakfast: No fruits, oatmeal or creamer, other than powder creamer. Couldn’t tell which coffee pot was decaf or regular. Layout of breakfast area was bad. Table and chairs in the lobby. Breakfast hours closed at 9am. Cannot recommend.

Good for a quick overnight stay -
As one of the local budget hotels near the highway, it served its purpose...a quick night's stay, continental breakfast and television. However, don't count on it for extensive wifi usage, like zoom calls, file attachment emails, etc. Very spotty wifi for anything other than basic searches. As a business traveler, this was an issue.

This property is very dated and poorly maintained. The one good thing is that it was for the most part fairly clean and the price was good.

I loved the location privacy and quick access to the highway. Unfortunately, it does not provide microwave and fridge. Also, there are not streaming services like Netflix, Hulu or Disney .

Smelled of cigarettes and chemicals used to try to cover up the odor. "Hot" water only luke warm. Traffic noise all night from I-81. Charged $25 deposit at check in and I had to stand at the desk while the clerk went upstairs and inspected the room before getting it back. Price shown as $82 including taxes and fees, but jumped to $90 on the payment screen.

Cleanliness and safety are my main concerns at hotels! This place is great for both! Very quiet and my room and bathroom areas are very clean. The parking areas are convenient, close to the lobby entrance and very safe with cameras.

the place smelled like indian food. The breakfast had stale muffins and cereal. The coffee was bad and cold. There was paint spilled on the carpet. They gave you tiny pieces of soap and not much shampoo. Would not recommend this motel at all.

It was fine to just crash for the night but I would have to say it was one of the worst Microtels I have stayed in and I like Microtel. It's a budget hotel with usually a decent continental breakfast and usually a pool and hot tub. I knew there was no pool or hot tub but at least I would get a decent breakfast, but that was not the case. Even the apple juice was so watered down. It was yellow water with a faint hint of apple flavor. It was just terrible.

This hotel is very rundown. The front desk was somewhat friendly, and check in was fine. However, there was an awful smell in the lobby, almost like urine. They had the front windows open, but no screens. We were on the main floor, but the room was minimal. The bathroom was awful. The tissue holder was rusted and they tried and patch the walls but paint job terrible. The ac worked ok, but just gave off a damp feeling. We needed this room for a road trip, as we were tired and needed a quick nights sleep. Go to the Hampton, across the way.

We chose Microtel because of its location to I-81. We won’t be back. Our bathroom was not clean and the bath mat was so slippery we were afraid we were going to slip and fall. Breakfast was minimal and the orange juice tasted like it had been watered down. The room was exceptionally small with giving us just room enough to move around. As I said, we won’t be back to this one - or most likely any other Microtel. This is our second bad experience with Microtel.
