Basic needs

Posted Nov 20, 2015
If noise bothers you this is not the hotel for you.. Traffic noise all night long as it is next to I 81 with trucks rolling 24/7. Room was small, clean, and a bed to sleep. Met my needs for an unexpected layover.

Posted Oct 31, 2015
Pros: close proximatey to desired destinations.
Cons: Internet access.

I slept well even with a broken arm. Our room was on the first floor as requested. The shower was hot and had saftey bars (another plus).

Good Price!

Posted Oct 15, 2015
Pros: Beds are very comfortable! And the price was great!
Cons: Find another way to deodorize the lobby and elevator. Whatever they are using was extremely strong and didn't even smell nice.
We only stayed one night and when we checked in - there was a very strong odor in the lobby! I have asthma and it was bothering me by the time we checked in - which didn't take long. The elevator also had a strong smell like a deodorizer. I was afraid the room was going to be like that - but it wasn't. The beds are very comfortable!

some of the front desk staff were not very nice

Posted Sep 28, 2015
Pros: plenty of clean towels
Cons: breakfast clean up should not be done on top of anyone eating.
Location: off of I81 and great location, close to West Virginia and all types of parks
went down for a big wedding and when we went for breakfast, we were still eating at 9 and they came and sprayed cleaner all around us, choking us so we could not breath anything but that cleaner, ruined any food we were in the process of finishing. We even commented to the man and he just ignored us. He tried to take th syrup out of my daughters hand because it was 9 on the dot and he wanted to get it put away before she even had any poured. very unhappy with that treatment.

Clean Modern Hotel

Posted Sep 20, 2015
Pros: Convenient location just off the interstate.
Cons: Coffee pot in room; more variety in breakfast choices.
Location: Convenient to a variety of dining choices, gas stations and shopping. Walmart is just three miles away.
Checked in late and the attendant was less than friendly. Rooms are accessible only through the front entrance, although parking was plentiful. No coffee pot in rooms, so if you are on an upper floor, (not my preference) a trip down to the lobby and back up in the morning for those who need that Java first thing in the morning, is a chore. Breakfast was free and you had better like waffles or cereal and hope there isn't a crowd as there were very few tables available. This was our first experience at a "micro" hotel and the name is approximate. Nice, clean facility. The price was right, but you get what you pay for.

Pros: beds
Cons: turn on air ahead in the room
I paid for a clean room for an overnight stop on way to NYC. The hotel was perfect for my need.
