Nice hotel in Haidian district..

Posted Apr 18, 2018
Pros: Location .
Cons: Toilet facilities need a lot to be improved.
Location: Nice location, many restaurants around .
Nice location, comfortable room , friendly staff.. Toilet rather small, low flushing water pressure, toilet became blocked once. They provide only one small toilet paper roll per person / day .Very good Wifi signal but not satellite TV , other than CNN ( which itself is difficult to find ) , no other international TV channel available . With access to google block in China, difficult to get international news.

Convenient and reasonable hotel for long term stay

Chinese restaurant in second floor is relatively cheap and food good. However, breakfast is overpriced compared to the quality. Shopping center next to the hotel is not that good but subway connection near by can take you anywhere.

Hotel needs renovation

Posted Nov 4, 2015 on Orbitz
The hotel was one of the few 3 or 4 star hotels in Beijing back in the 1980s, but has since lost its appeal as the management neglected maintenance in the last decade or two. It is now just one of those budget hotels: dirty and wore out carpets, old toilets, and noisy and and hardly working air conditioners. The location is good, though.

Pros: Convenient location. 10 minute walk to Renmin University Station. Nice mall beside hotel.
Cons: Staff did not replenish daily necessities like soaps and shampoo. Need to request explicitly. Also weak flow of water from shower tap.
Location: Nearby has Tong Shang Mall. An upscale mall with nice selection of restaurants and boutiques and supermarkets selling imported products.
Overall pleasing experience. Since it is an apartment, not stellar but provides all basic needs - no frills. Clean and tidy. A/C sometimes not working properly, however. Convenient - next to shopping mall and subway station. Time to airport takes about 50 minute, 130 RMB.
