You definitely get what you pay for on this one. Rooms are dated and cold. Bathroom smelled of cigarettes and shower clearly hadn’t been cleaned in months. Breakfast: 16€ per person was a basic European breakfast old greasy bacon sitting in a pan next to a pan of eggs which appeared to have also been there since breakfast started. The fresh juice and coffee was the best part.

Not enough staff. Older guy on reception grumpy and shouts at children . Service slow as receptionist cooks food also and works bar. Toilets don’t flush properly either. Could not recommend!

Not an airport hotel
Hotel was very hood. Staff friendly. Checkin was painless the only problem was that we booked in for one night before early flight next morning. As it was advertised as an airport hotel we were disappointed and somewhat annoyed to discover it was a 15 drive from the airport. We had taken train to Fleurus as that is where the hotel is situated or so we thought. But No, we arrived on a Sunday afternoon to a deserted town with no means of getting to hotel or even knowing which way to get there. No taxis. Phoned hotel and Jean arranged for a taxi to collect us at the train station to bring us to hotel. Eventually all was ok. But it was a bit of an ordeal.

Convenient for a motorway stopover.
Hotel is located 400 metres from the motorway, so is handily placed for a stop off venue. Breakfast was as expected from a budget hotel.

So many things to say in so little space. My biggest complaint is our room smelled awful! It smelled of rotten eggs and there was no way to get the smell out. When we went down to talk to someone at the front desk they weren't there. They seemed perpetually understaffed, busy, and a bit rude. Also be aware that they have elevators that will take you to a set of stairs you will need to take to each floor. The beds are like rocks. Just not a great experience at all.

No wake up call as there"s no phone in the room. I asked if they could knock on my door incase the alarm didnt go off. I was told no thats not possible. Tea & Coffee facilities in the room would have been nice especially after a 2.45am start. The room was dirty, and stunk of cigarettes. Every time I went in the bathroom it made me gag with the smell. Quite noisy being on the main road. No shuttle Bus from the hotel, paid 25 euros from the airport to the hotel. And 15 euros back.Snacks available during the day, however there is a petrol station a few minutes away for fresh sandwiches and coffee. Would not recommend this hotel at all. Highly disappointed after an early start and long journey.

Choosing another hotel
Good check in Minimal facilities in room. No kettle to make tea. Not near any shops for food Wrote 4 emails about getting a taxi from airport but only one reply for a return to airport. The taxi service from airport had extremely rude taxi drivers charging double the price. I preordered early taxi for early flight return at hotel reception but taxi did not come. Had to wait half an hour at 430am till 5am for another taxi.

Highly disappointing and did not serve its purpose
We stayed here as a stop over for one night to get a good night's sleep before taking a flight from Charleroi - unfortunately the experience did not deliver that - the room was okay but the walls are super thin and we essentially couldn't sleep all night because of the noise coming through from all directions. Would not recommend it. Also, the first room we were given was not cleaned and we had to change it - highly disappointing given the kind of precaution one would expect given the pandemic.

Reasonable hotel
Reasonable hotel in the way from the UK to Switzerland. We booked 2 rooms, one was perfect, the other was booking hot sure to hearing left on full blast. Breakfast buffet would have been good, but not enough staff to refill. When we went for breakfast at 8am, half of the choice was empty.

Overnight stop in Belgium 2 hours from Dunkirk
I stayed here as I was driving back to Dunkirk the following morning.The hotel has the advantage that breakfast is available from 04:30 am onwards, so if you've got an early morning ferry from Dunkirk (which is about 2 hours drive away) then that's quite useful.

Hotel airport shuttle
Hotel needs to improve the access to the shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. Even though it is run by an independent taxi company it reflects badly on the hotel

Good hotel
Good hotel! Breakfast is good too- I was really glad to have espresso coffee instead of instant ones often offered at hotels!!!

hotel 10km from airport!!
the name of the hotel is deceiving. people think that is close to the Airport when booking, because there is another ibis hotel near the Airport, and then we realize that there's another IBIS, that is called IBIS Charleroi Airport, and not even in Charleroi is placed!! I'm very disappointed!

Nothing special but practical
Nothing special, practical for the airport and close to the motorway. The twin room has 2 single beds as you would expect but if you are older than 10 you will find them very small. I was told that they went together - they don’t! Heating is an electric heater by the bed and has a mind of its own not ideal and I would have expected more from ibis.

Good Hotel but beware faulty Sat Nav directions.
The hotel was hard to find as thre seems to be an error in Sat Nav programming, my Sat Nav took me to a location over a km away and I had to ask someone for directions. Other guests said they'd had the same problem and mentioning it to the guy at reception he said they were aware there was a problem. Once I'd found the hotel it was fine.

Hotel was reasonable but expensive for the quality and location. Said it offered free shuttle to the airport, but charged me €10 so I was disappointed as this one reason I stayed here.

We would like to let you know that our pricing is comparable to similar properties in the area and we feel we provide good value given our central location and extensive facilities. We regret that this was not your impression. We assure you that we do not provide a shuttle service for free. Shuttle service is provided by us only with the taxi. Our Hotel gives a special price for the taxi. We propose to book the taxi for our guests, but they have to pay directly to the taxi driver. The price is a negotiated one (10€ in place of 15€).
