Cosy hotel with lovely ocean view

We upgraded to a 55sqm suite with access to the Ocean Lounge - an improvement from the standard 27sqm room. Only downside is the hotel shuttle does not serve Odawara station on weekends which is a bit inconvenient.

Amazing hotel.For hakone area 2 nights are enough

nearest thing to a Japanese hotel for westerners, staff could not be more obliging or helpful. Restaurants and facilities although expensive are amazing. 2 nights are enough.

as close to a japanese hotel as you can get. Food very very expensive and the amenities exceptional. rooms are very small as you would expect from a hotel in japan. Caters to the locals , very few non japanese stay there.

Loving Odawara

Marvellous holiday retreat in the lush environment. We enjoyed the ocean view right in front of our balcony. The staff have a good command of English although most of the occupants are locals. The breakfast buffet also have a good mix of variety between Japanese and international cuisine. We fell in love with the food, scenery and people of Odawara.

We only stayed 4 nights here and could easily have stayed on. I wrote a review days ago about Mume hotel Kyoto .being the best small hotel I have stayed in (9 ) rooms only........well this is the best large hotel we have stayed in. Friendly and helpfull staff..hotel and grounds kept immaculate...At least a 1000 ,s spare meters of grounds to wander around .Map provided. Management must be proud of their staff and hotel here.
