Pros: Hotel was reasonably priced with breakfast included, tea/ coffee always available in front lobby. Room was nice size with fridge, microwave .
Cons: Availability of plates, cutlery in room
Location: See above
Close to many tourist attractions in Halifax, across from Citadel Hill,a short walk to Pier 21, historic properties and harbour walk, around the corner for Spring Garden road and the Public Gardens.

시타델 근처 쾌적한 숙소

Posted Aug 27, 2015

Spacious hotel, close to boardwalk

Posted Aug 27, 2015
Pros: - close to everything, boardwalk, bars, restaurants - free continental breakfast was well stocked and clean - friendly staff
Cons: - hot tub jets weren't working, so it felt like sitting in a big bathtub :( - sofa bed pull out wasn't comfortable at all
A group of us (five women) stayed at Cambridge suites for 4 nights. We left after breakfast each morning to drive to various sightseeing spots as well as the boardwalk. Most nights were returned to our room and went out again (walking ) for the evening. It was a perfect location and very nice.

Very comfortable hotel near the centre of the city

Posted Aug 26, 2015
Pros: Very helpful and friendly staff, particularly at reception and its excellent, central location. Great views from the roof terrace over the harbour.
Cons: Breakfast, though adequate, could do with more variety. It became a bit boring towards the end of our eight night stay.
Location: The location is on the edge of downtown Halifax, providing easy access to the 'party area' of Argyll Street and the surrounding streets.
We had a front room, which had a great view of the Halifax Citadel (fog permitting). It is also ideally situated close to many bars and restaurants. Hotel staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful and the junior we booked was spacious and well equipped. The continental breakfast was good, but was the same every day, but could supplemented by a full hot breakfast from the menu at a moderate additional charge. We did not use the restaurant or bar facilities as we preferred to eat out. The Hotel's location in itself was fine, but it was a very long uphill climb from the waterfront, particularly in the hot humid conditions we had during our very enjoyable nine day stay in Halifax.

Good Hotel, Good Location

Posted Aug 25, 2015
Pros: Very attentive and responsive staff
Location: Literally within walking distance to everything, from food to attractions, and especially the boardwalk.
We were happy staying at the Cambridge; it's only a few blocks from the water and very near good restaurants, the Museum of Nova Scotia and the Neptune Theatre (where we saw a small Broadway-style show).
