Great location!

Pros: The hotel is clean and the breakfast is great!
Cons: When checking in the employee was a little rude and was in a rush to go home.
Location: Great location! Close to the city, shopping, and restaurants!
We have stayed here a lot over the years and have always been pleased. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is very good and the majority of the staff are very friendly.

Could be a good place to stay

Pros: Close to our relatives.
Cons: Staff should be more responsive to a quests complaints not just say that it will be handled.
Location: shopping down to street about 10 mins.
Breakfast buffet was always cold, and was not replenished after 9am room was very small and tables too close together also not enough tables for all the quests some were left standing in the corner or took their coffee back to their room. Room had not been cleaned properly before arrival (potatoe chip crumbs all over the carpet also cashew nuts) we had to request the room be cleaned properly 4 times before anything was done.

Cons: The beds and scent free cleaners
It was for private reasons that we came Halifax and this hotel was well priced and convenient.

Breakfast

Pros: Location and quiet.
Cons: Depending who is on the front desk depends on what service you get. The girl that was on last evening was wonderful and helpful.
The dining area is too small. You have to either get up early to get a spot to sit or wait for a table, and should you go later there is not much left to pick from. I give it a big failing mark.

Our breakfast area is small which is why we open up the meeting rooms on days it is not booked to allow for larger seating capacity. We also encourage guests to take trays up to their room for better comfort as well on the busy days. We hope this does not deter you too much form staying with us again sometime in the future. Good location for our particular itinerary.

Pros: It was conveniently positioned. The amenities offered were good. We were treated well. Nothing upset us about our stay.
Cons: Space in the foyer when there are several people waiting for assistance.
Location: Did this in the foregoing!
We needed a place to stay for one night on the western parts of Halifax. This one gave easy access to the three places of particular interest for this stay – Hubbards, Peggy's Cove, and then central Halifax.

Pros: We had a suite and a room, both were very spacious and clean. Hotel staff were very friendly, and breakfast was adequate
Cons: More seating for breakfast area.
Location: Restaurants and shopping close by, hotel is 15 minutes' drive from downtown.
We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely use it again.

Pros: Room layout was great, having a sitting area separate from the sleeping area was nice. Daily continental breakfast was good.
Location: Hotel was easy to find and access to downtown Halifax was fairly straightforward.
Hotel is located right off of a main highway and is somewhat noisy with trucks passing by, should your windows be on that side. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is pet friendly, so some barking could be heard at times during the evening. Hotel is located on the edge of an industrial area, with Tim Horton's/Wendy's within walking distance. Restaurant is also near by.

Friendly staff and clean room.

I travel a lot for work and stay at a lot of various hotels. This hotel was very clean the staff were very helpful and friendly. I would certainly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again next time I'm in the area.
