Great Hotel in downtown Halifax

Posted Dec 10, 2017
Pros: Huge rooms with small kitchenette. Lots of space and bed was very comfortable. Complimentary hot/cold breakfast was a lovely.
Cons: Everything was great. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Location: The location is the best. Right in downtown Halifax. You could throw a rock and hit Neptune Theatre. There are lots of bars, shops etc close by.
Check in was easy and quick. We love that there is a small store right next to check in desk, to purchase snacks etc. Our room was huge compared to other hotel rooms in Halifax, with lots of space to stretch out and relax. The kitchenette was a welcome surprise.

Perfect location for Halifax

Very pleased with our stay at the Residence Inn . Spacious and comfortable room, good breakfast included. We paid to park the car and walked everywhere - there was so much construction downtown that it was much easier by foot, and this location put most sites and good restaurants only a few blocks away.

Had a great stay, good location- close to everything, very nice room and clean. The staff at the front desk were great, answered many questions that we had about the area.

Very noisy hotel to stay at on a Saturday night

Posted Sep 18, 2017
Pros: Loved the room and that it was close to waterfront and touring at walking distance.
Cons: Pricey, noisey, felt unsafe at night. The breakfast room small. Had to wait for a seat.
Two outdoor patio pubs right under our window. Very rowdy and noisy drunks yelling. could not sleep at all. Hotel was very nice and room great but pricey. Also had to add on $21 a day for parking. Was close to everything to walk to right down town.

Stsff were all very friendly, morning breakfast was good. Construction next door made sure you didn't sleep in after 7:30, but it looks like it should be finished soon.Nice place
