A tranquil retreat for a short breakPosted Apr 2, 2017 on Hotels
Lovely place to stay for a short break with friendly efficient staff and good food in a lovely tranquil setting. The breakfast with home made black pudding and locally sourced food was exceptional. Not quite so sure about the narrow, steep, cobbled roads in the vacinity for larger cars but they will be ideal for the cyclists as they fly past the Shibden Mill Inn on the Tour de Yorkshire in early May, It should be spectacular to watch on TV..... or on the large screen at the Inn.

bit of luxury for an overnight stayPosted Oct 2, 2016 on Hotels
Felt like a bit of luxury for a very brief stay en route somewhere else. Beautiful evening meal and absolutely fabulous breakfast.

Very happy with the accommodation and the service was good. Seemed a little under-staffed at breakfast but overall very welcoming.

Super venue!Posted Jun 14, 2016
Pros: Just about everything. Quaint, picturesque, welcoming.
Location: Beautiful countryside to walk in.
Our first visit to Shibden and it is placed in beautiful Yorkshire countryside. The staff were totally excellent, as was dinner in the restaurant. Super!

Great location, food and staff. Some rooms smallPosted Oct 24, 2015 on Hotels
Very friendly helpful staff, fantastic food. Room was a little cramped, and need more staff on at breakfast. Went on a couple of the local walks, good that they have provided a leaflet and basic map for this. Would go back.

Poor ValuePosted Oct 16, 2015 on Hotels
My room was very small and had a very low grade shower room. I had expected a lot more for the price. It's a shame as the restaurant was really good. Clearly this is a place to eat but not to stay

A great find!Posted Oct 1, 2015 on Hotels
We really enjoyed our break at Shibden Mill Inn. Excellent customer care and service. Extremely tasty breakfast using locally sourced produce, including free range eggs which is great from an animal welfare perspective. Comfy room and good shower. Thank you
