We appreciated the set-up in the kitchen (plenty of cooking supplies, spices, etc.), and the host goes the extra miles with plenty of toothbrushes, mouthwash, first aid supplies. You name it - it was provided. We enjoyed sitting by the fire in the living room and watching the olympics at the end of a long day. We found a charming and clean house with tons of character and thoughtful amenities. The beds were comfortable with quality mattresses, slept well. In the midst of snow, winds, and below zero temps, we stayed cozy just absorbing all the historic details and relics in the home— from the books, articles, to antique rotary phone and phonograph, there was plenty to take in. We cooked in and found all the supplies needed, then had a fantastic night of sleep in the well- appointed bedrooms.”
