Quiet, private, bush surroundings
Gorgeous upmarket bush cabin. Heaps of natural light, huge windows looking out in to bush. Bed comfortable. A very relaxing stay. My only quibble was that the bathtub was difficult to get in and out of when you wanted to shower. Loved this place

Unpleasant experience with staff
Staffs were unpleasant and we were shocked at how rude they were. Did not treat guests the right manner, and they were extremely rude. Didn't know that they imposed a rule of cleaning up the dishes as well. The pots and pans provided were of bad quality, even after using oil, the eggs and salmon were stuck onto the pan and therefore hard to scrub it away. We felt that there was no privacy and the staffs could look into the cabin anytime. Highly will not recommend anybody to stay here, I have been to better cabins in Melbourne like Clifftop at Hepburn where the service was better and experience was pleasant. Do not stay in DULC Cabins.

Interesting thoughts Mr Goh Yeou Jie. First of all on check in I think you will recall I was very pleasant, welcomed you and your partner, giving you plenty of information. But of course you have failed to mention here that you attempted to smuggle in 2 extra people to a cabin that has a maximum occupancy of 2 which you knew on booking, with then the intention of bringing in another 2 the following night making 6. I know this as I helped you to organise alternative accommodation elsewhere for the extra 4 people. You were indeed quite rude to both myself and my husband, quite upset that you did not get away with your plan. Our cabins are self contained and every self contained accommodation I know of expect you to clean your own dishes so this is not unusual. The other accommodation provider that I helped you find for the extra 4 people were appalled at the state you left their unit in. All our cabins are secluded and private and you had blinds to pull down if you chose to. We are high on customer service which is reflected in all our other reviews. You are unhappy because you did not get away with lying to us about the amount of people you wanted to have in the cabin.

Relaxing Weekend Getaway
3 hours from Melbourne, great place to go for a relaxing weekend getaway. The location was wonderful, right amongst the bush.

Better than expected!
Had a weekend get away with 3 other friends, stayed in cabin 3 which accommodated for four, and we can all confidently say that Dulc cabins were way better than we expected! It was absolutely beautiful, from the cabin and its facilities to the scenery that surrounded us. So luxurious and perfect for us girls to get away and relax for the weekend. Had such a blast, and thanks to the lovely owners for helping us make our trip that much more amazing! Did not want to leave at all. Cannot wait to go back! Definitely my favourite little hide out spot now.

The owners were very helpful, getting the heater going in the cabin a while before our late arrival. Not as nice as the photos would suggest, but a very comfortable place to stay none the less and i would reccomend it highly.

The location of the cabin was wonderful, a sense of privacy and being close to nature. The room was comfortable but there was no WiFi in the cabin (this was accessed by sitting on a plastic seat on sandy soil outside the closed reception), there was no oven, washing machine nor dishwasher and the raised bed area looked good but was a serious trip hazard.

Our private sanctuary...
We were greeted to a spotlessly clean home in the middle of the bush. Very welcoming despite being so secluded. It was quiet, and very private. Kitchen is equip for basic cooking, and BBQ was a treat at your own back verandah. Groceries can be bought at the local town store, or at Stawell Woolworths (well stocked) about 25mins drive away. No Internet or Phone signal on the mobile, but it didn't matter, the serenity of the environment took all your worries away.

A very pleasant stay
The size of the cabins are good, modern and different, set in the middle of nowhere adding to the pleasure. Provisions in Halls Gap are expensive and limited so take all you need with you. A most memorable and enjoyable stay.

Wonderful cabin nestled in amongst the bushes.
My partner and I stayed at the Treehouse cabin over the long weekend and we loved it! We are definitely planning to stay there in the future. We never met the owners but I spoke to one of them over the phone informing them that we will be late and might not get in until midnight. This was no problem as she said she would leave the lights on (so we can see where we were going) and gave us our access code. I already knew we were going to have an excellent stay because of this hospitality. When we finally got into our cabin we couldn't have been more impressed. The place was spacious and neat with lots of natural light. The bathroom itself had window ceilings. The cabins aren't far from the town centre and during the day we saw kangaroos, echidnas and beautiful birds in and around the cabin grounds. It was just beautiful. It's tucked away from plain sight and I think that works to their advantage. Beautiful, beautiful cabin!!!

Kangaroos in the garden!
The DULC lodge was so wonderful it is hard to describe! Set amongst beautiful bushland, we not only encountered kangaroos close up, but all sorts of lovely wild birds and bats. The accommodation was lovely, thoughtfully set out so we could see the trees and the animals from all parts of the cabin. The furniture and bed were all really comfortable and high quality, and the place was beautifully clean. The friendly owners made us feel very welcome to this very special place.

My fiance and I stayed over the weekend and really enjoyed our time at the DULC cabins, despite the wild weather! It was nice to come back from our hike to warm up in our cozy cabin by the fire.
