Wonderful hotel in a stunning location!Posted Sep 15, 2015
Pros: Everything -the location, the view, the gorgeous rooms, the food in the restaurant, the friendly staff and definitely, the very relaxing atmosphere.
Location: Wonderful location. Rented electric boats right beside the hotel - was great fun and super cheap. The platz is near by too for more food options!
I don't think I've ever walked into a hotel room and been wowed by what was before me as much as I was at Heritage Hallstatt. We spent the extra money to get a Junior Suite and it was 100% worth it. The view we had was breath-taking - we spent a lot of time on our balcony sitting, enjoying the view while drinking tea. The room itself was specious, new and luxurious. The bathroom was also the same. The hotel staff were wonderful and friendly. The restaurant provided a great breakfast and we ate there for dinner too and had one of the nicest meals we had while in Austria. Hallstatt was definitely the highlight of our trip to Austria and the hotel played a massive part in that!

Not what we expectedPosted Sep 7, 2015
Pros: Room was clean, updated, and comfortable
Cons: Service from the staff, and accuracy of your Expedia listing to include the other two buildings. Not mentioning that seems like bait & switch.
Location: The town pretty much is only open from 10-5pm...literally 85% of the town closes after 5 including most restaurants.
First the good....rooms were very updated, clean, with good wireless connectivity. The view of the lake from the window and balcony was incredible as well. The bad is that we expected to be staying at the hotel located on the map, but they have 2 other buildings approximately 6 or 7 minutes walking away from the main building that they don't mention anywhere on their Expedia page. So after navigating the tricky streets and think we finally arrived at our hotel, we were re-directed to another building that unlike the main building is not on the water, but instead a few streets back and up a hill. Really felt like a bait and switch. To use any of the hotel amenities, you have to walk over to the main building which in the rain wasn't so pleasant. There are umbrellas available at the front desk, but again you have to walk there to get them. Staff was very cool and impersonal as well. I've lived in Europe (Germany) for the the last 5 years so I am used to service being a bit muted compared to other places, but even for Austria this was impersonal and uncaring. For parking, there is a shuttle service from P1 but sometimes you have to wait 20-30 minutes to take it and you can only use it for check-in/check-out. The driver wouldn't take us there to get our car when we wanted to take a drive somewhere so instead we had to walk 25 minutes to the parking lot. Bottom line the rooms are great, staff are underwhelming, and there are a lot of important details that are left out.

메인 광장에서 가깝고 카페 분위기, 커피맛 좋음Posted Sep 6, 2015

Good hotel right on the lake.Posted Aug 10, 2015
Mostly good but a few things: refrigerator did not work, told the staff and it wasn't fixed. Broken chair on balcony was a broken chair with dangerous exposed screw. No air conditioning.

Lovely Hotel in HallstattPosted Jul 14, 2015
Pros: Location, views
Cons: Adding AC
Location: Everything you need is right out the door!
My husband and I were on our honeymoon through Europe when we stopped for two nights in Hallstatt. This hotel we lovely. We had a view of the lake from our room, which was very spacious, and a small balcony. The room was clean and quite large. We did not eat at the hotel as breakfast was not included and was quite pricey, but the food looked good. The location was perfect for shopping and sight seeing around Hallstatt however be warned that the bells of the churches RIGHT NEXT to the hotel (one on each side) ring for about 1-2 full minutes every day at 6AM and 7 PM. There is no way you will sleep through this. Overall, we were very satisfied with this hotel.

Nice and cozy hotelPosted Jul 6, 2015 on Hotels
Our room was not ready upon arrival and we had to leave our stuff in other friend room. it was almost 3pm. The room was comfortable nice view to the lake. Breakfast was OK. The staff was not so friendly. Internet signal at the bar was not good. It was raining and we have to go to the door next to the reception. It is a cozy hotel in a nice area.
