Perfect except for bed

Hotel is on the lake right next to the ferry landing. If you arrive by train and ferry, it is the first building you will encounter. I had a top (6th) floor room overlooking the lake which was magical. Room was quite large, especially by European standards. Heated floors in bathroom were a nice touch in winter. Breakfast buffet is good and dinner restaurant (in same area) is excellent. The only downside is the bed. It is two single beds set next to each other. Three of the four hotels I stayed at in Austria had this setup (which is really odd). However this was the least comfortable of all of them - really soft and lumpy. I can sleep almost anywhere so it was ok for me, but if you have a hard time sleeping it might ruin an otherwise outstanding hotel. (The bed is the sole reason I give it four star rating instead of five). It seems odd to me that a premium hotel has worse beds than Motel 6.
