Just ok

Construction noise in the space adjoining the hotel began every morning at 7 a.m.! It was unbearable. Requested to be moved to another room & the noise was somewhat less, but not much. Upon checkout a "trainee" INSISTED that I pay the entire bill, even though it had ALREADY been paid through Expedia. She was quite rude & arrogant about the situation. It was obvious that she was CLUELESS & within an hour I was called down to the front desk to adjust a portion of the bill. I knew I could settle it with Expedia, so I was not worried, &, eventually, it was sorted out. What bothered me most was her attitude...never ONCE was an apology offered! Do not understand why a "trainee" is left unsupervised in this type of situation.

Excellent hotel with very nice rooms and location

Pros: Location Breakfast The room and the bathroom
Cons: The frig in the room if can be used for free
Location: Excellent location The station 1 minute walk
Only two criticism 1- The frig in the room can't be used because you need to give your credit card and they take money when used .So we couldn't put stuff inside it . 2- The cleaner last day was standing in front our door makes us rush and my son forgot to take his shaving machine charger . Other wise the rest was excellent with fantastic breakfast and the best location .near the station 1 minute walk . The staff was friendly and useful specially man called Edger was very nice

Definitely a WOW Moment

Pros: Clean Warm staff Spacious Great Views
Cons: My king bed was two beds pushed together. Not a big deal for me since I was alone but if I was cuddling my partner we might have fallen in the crack.
Location: Less than a five minute walk to Hofbräu Hamburg. They have excellent German food and beer
I'm relatively new at staying at Radisson Blu and this is my third Radisson Blu property to stay at (the other two being in London). This place is absolutely beautiful and the staff was warm and inviting. I was stuck in Hamburg after missing a connecting flight so I was in a bit of a bad mood but the staff was so kind and offered me local suggestions to relax and grab some famous German beer. Getting to the hotel is currently a bit confusing due to local construction but that isn't their fault. My room was spacious and meticulously clean. It offered great views of the city and my bed was so comfortable! I had a great nights sleep! I would definitely recommend.

poor customer service

Pros: location
Cons: A lot of things need improving -staff attitude, customer services.
Location: good location, nice park nearby. Unfortunately a big construction site next door too.
They never gave us the 20% discount in food and beverages as perVIP+ expedia amenities. They also made a big fuss about extending the check out time also included an expedia amenities . We wanted to go to the roof top bar but we were not informed on Friday that it was reserved for private party on saturday and sunday. We could have gone on Friday . The attitude of the reception staff was appalling and not at all helpful. There was only one computer in the business centre and it wasn't working.

Nice hotel close to station.

Location: located near S21 station. lot of food joints and friendly staff
The hotel is located in a nice quite place close to station and city centre. The amenities are good.

Nice hotel, awkward access

Pros: I loved the staff, the condition of the hotel and the cleanliness
Cons: The restaurant is way overpriced, get breakfast in one of the train station cafes instead. The escalator access needs to be changed.
Location: The hotel is right next to the Botanic garden, a very large park that is well worth seeing. The tour buses are a block away, so pretty handy.
The hotel is very nice, modern and clean, but there is a huge convention centre being built next to it and the access to the hotel is quite awkward as a result. You must navigate your bags up a narrow escalator to the reception area. Vehicle access is also strange. However, it is right beside a train station, so convenient for rail travel. Staff are very pleasant

As a solo traveller found the location excellent. Building works less positive and altered acess could have been indicated on website. General experience was good.

In the center, close, staff seams helpful but ...

The view is outstanding, the location is nice. The room does not get cleaned properly, used glasses are not wash or replaced most of the time. Housekeepers took my sons clothes by accident with dirty sheets and lost them and after complaining to 5 persons we got a response. But still could not find it and did not bother to offer anything to make it up for us, as if nothing happened.

Modern trendy hotel next to transports

Pros: Modern, Clean and lovely decorated hotel and rooms, Diversified breakfast buffet including glutten free items.Good spa facilities, Roof top terrasse
Cons: the openning hours of the roof top only currently in the evening, unfortunate
Location: Next to train and subway station and botanical gardens. Is next to congress center (in construction), but does not disturb the hotel function.
We enjoyed the easy train and subway access to the airport and city attractions. The business class gave access to a quiet room with a view and complimentary breakfast buffet, fitness and spa facilities. We also enjoyed cocktails with a panoramic view of the city from the roof top terrasse.
