This hotel is one of the best property I’ve stayed at. Near the train station and the convenience of crossing the street to get to Hamburg airport.

Great location. You could park the car there and head downtown and return the rental next day. Otherwise next door access to the terminals. There is a Supermarket on the ground level across the street (Edeka). I was not thrilled by the restaurant options but can’t comment on it, really. The restaurant area looked ok. The room was clean and quiet. Very pleasant. Check in your luggage the evening before departure and book a “slot and fly” access (free) since there is no TSA Pre-Check option. Breakfast starts at 6:00. Don’t book it unless your flight is 8:00 or later. There are free coffee and croissants though (for free)

We got up at 2:00am to catch an early morning flight to Hamburg and wanted to check in early right after we got to the hotel. Our room was ready and we could have the room at 11:00am. The proximity to and from the airport was very close, which was very convenient for us because we had to get up early the next morning at 3:00am to catch our flight back home. The hotel was situated just a few minutes walk to the airport terminals and also to S Bahn. We took the subway to the city center and could find many choices of dining. We did the self check in so we didn’t really encounter face to face with hotel staffs, but the room was clean and we were happy with the amenities. We didn’t try their breakfast because we had to fly out very early in the morning. When we came back from the city center, we saw many guests in the dining area so the restaurant must be popular. Couldn’t think of any complaints with Radisson Blu and we will stay there again if we have the opportunity to come to Hamburg!

The distance to the airport is what counts
We loved the cute little touch with the Gummi bears and the Lilliputi translator. What we didn’t like is that there were 2 bottles of water for three people. Parking is also strange. The hotel should have at least some personal spots

Excellent hotel and option if you have an early flight. Additionally, not only it is close to the hotel but also close to the train station, which can take you to most places. I liked the self check in part; it was fast, easy to do, and convenient (but there’s someone available to help if necessary). The restaurant has a pretty good menu. We ate only twice and it was so delicious. Overall, I really liked my stay. I will stay again and do recommend the hotel.

All the staff in the hotel and in the restaurant were courteous, welcoming, professional, and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent with more choices than I've had in any other hotel. The room was very clean and bed very comfortable. Best place to stay!

Generally a good on-airport hotel
Very convenient hotel for walking over to the airport and easy access into the city by S-bahn; the staff were all friendly and all areas were clean and well-maintained apart from the coffee station in the foyer which was out of action. The "Premier Inn"-style diy check-in is not acceptable for a mid-market hotel, especially as it only works if you have your Radisson reference number which of course you never receive if you book via Hotels.com so you need to get help to check-in. My room was a good size, well-soundproofed from exterior and hotel noise, clean and well-equipped except to note that instant coffee and dried "creamer" are not appropriate for the room rate. Coffee bags and normal creamer would be a less miserly, yet drinkable, alternative. The air conditioning was feeble and my room remained very hot for both nights that I stayed. Having said all that, I would stay there again if I needed to be at the airport for an early flight.

Eliminate the bathtub. I for one never use a bathtub during a stay. It was nice they had grab bars since the wall of the tub was rather high. Nightlights would have helped and I personally missed having a wash cloth. Driving directions to the hotel inside the airport should be improved. I for one wound up in the parking garage and it cost some $20 to exit. A roof top restaurant with airport views would be nice instead of the dark location on the first floor. All in all, I can highly recommend it.

Hotel is OK, for an airport hotel
It's a shame that the company is insisting on non-human check-in/-out process - instead of investing in a more personal touch and interaction (especially after the pandemic, now that it's allowed again). Once you get to talk to someone, they tend to be helpful and friendly. However, it seems that in the restaurant, there's always an issue with the bill - at least it's happened to me more than once. That's besides the not-so-clean atmosphere (and the overworked staff who missed the food for a neighbouring table for about 2 hours).
