Absolutely awful

Upon arrival to the hotel, we were greeted with a foul stench that would bring a tear to anyone's eye. The reception area was average, but I was surprised to learn there was no room service, nor a working wifi and the staff were less than helpful. In my often forgiving nature, I thought to myself as long as the room is decent and has a nice clean and comfortable bed, then this hotel would be average in my opinion. Unfortunately my optimism was unfounded, as the room looked damp, decorated in a puke green colour with dirt around the floors, a TV that looked like it was brought from the past (but at least it worked) and a bed that was covered in a dirty duvet with cigarette burns. Suffice to say, after tolerating one nights stay, I decided to find another hotel (Le sultan, which was lovely). I checked out early and asked for a refund, but I was refused it. When they asked what was wrong, I mentioned my issues, but rather than listening to them, they were suggesting a new room, which would've been fine if they weren't all bad. Avoid at all costs, its 1 star at best and I met a few couples who were also ready to check out early after being left deeply unsatisfied.

From Better to Excellent

I had the chance to stay two nights with my family at this hotel some years ago, and overall experience was Ok. Now,(End-June 2014), the hotel looks much modern and the stay was much confortable .Food is Ok: a traditional food with a wide variety of starters and Fruits for the desert. Room was clean and huge with moder furniture and Flat TV screen..Pool was clean with a lot of sunbeds surrounding the pool and garden.. The Beach was also clean. We had a very good experience and it is really worth for money. Bravo to all the staff, in reception, restaurant, animation and everywhere, you are amazing.:) Siwar

Not at all a 3*, if you are desperate for cheap sun then go here

We arrived at the hotel and waited 20min before someone appeared at reception. The rooms were old, smelt of damp, the shower curtains were mouldy, the balcony was approx 1"x1"... I could go on. The food was poor, there was very little choice for drinks and the general atmosphere was depressing. We actually only stayed 12hrs before checking out and finding a (much nicer) hotel. No one asked us why or tried to make things better. The staff all seemed to be as depressed as us! I would recommend this hotel if you are desperate for a cheap holiday. I wouldnt recommend this hotel to anyone else. Pay the extra 50-100 quid and have a really lovely hotel instead!
