the room they provided wasn't so good. No balcony, old furniture/ I expected something better for this money/ It looked very old. Mostof rooms were locking with the card but mine was locked with the key. What a disappointment

Old and outdated need upgrading, dirty carpets, dirty pillows, mattress definitely need changing, minibar fridge wasn’t working, bathroom moody and dirty shower curtain had stain and the gym no point mention it not safe for any use. wouldn’t recommend this hotel a 5* maybe 2-3*. Loud music until early hour every night. My first ever experienced booking a 5* hotel and uncovering all this issue plus service very poor plus it was my first time using ebooks and my last after experience. Please rethinking how your rate the hotel as a 5*.

Well, the location is great, you're a few seconds away from the private beach of the hotel, but: - One of the elevators doesn't work, so you can end up waiting in line for at least ten minutes to get to your room. - The breakfast isn't that great. - The housekeepers are very nice people, but they don't really seem to understand the concept of "privacy". They opened the door three times, even when I yelled that I was "in the room" and needed some time. They said they would bring me a "do not disturb" sign but they never brought one, and ended up disturbing me and my privacy several times. - The hotel's rules aren't made clear to a guest. It was a good stay, but there was a lot that can be improved.

Hotel staff are very friendly and service is great.... the hotel room is just too old.... noisy hotel.... room sound insulation is non existent.... outdoor swimmimg pool music and cabaret music could ne heard clearly till early morning from my room.... happenned to get sick when there so not really enjoyable experience.

The country is lovely and sunny, with beautiful views. On arrival i was put into a room without any balcony which was surprising considering I was asked to email my confirmation at check in. The toilet bin was broken and also the toilet roll holder both reported but nothing was changed. It took 4 days for them to respond to my request of a bottle opener in my room. The fridge door is made of wood and damaged - water damage. Others said the same. The shower curtain in my opinion should be replaced with glass. It had a dirty line across the bottom of it which made it really uncomfortable to shower. This was fed back to the hotel. The hotel isn’t on the beach, you need to leave the building and it’s across the road. This should be clear in the description and would have heavily swayed my decision when booking. It is also very noisy because there are several other hotels sharing the beach with music playing so loud you can hear from the hotel room. The spa in my opinion should be open to use the facilities of anyone all inclusive. It was disappointing that I’d paid over £800 for the week and wasn’t able to use the jacuzzi or indoor pool without incurring any additional charges despite having paid for my daughter to have a manicure and pedicure for myself. stomach cramps from day 4 and on day 6 woke up with vomiting in the early hours. Since iv had severe diarrhea. Restaurant was so busy they need more staff as they struggle to reset throughout serving

Nice hotel that is well kept and clean, The staff was friendly and the location of the hotel is close to the beach and convenient. The pool is a little small but comfortable.

Value for money at great location
This is a very well structured hotel with a nice ambiance and friendly staff. They try very hard to make the experience memorable. Their guest relations services help to serve guests. This is what we should expect from a five star hotel.

Mehari is a local Tunisian Hotel; No international
No Transfert facilities from the hotel to the Airport; The taxi Driver tried to cheat me.... I was asked to produce a hard copy of the booking arrangement with Expedia. The receptionist in service of onJuly 20th at 11:30 PM; He said he couldn't find my booking arrangment because I presented only online version in my tablette. He insist that he worked only with hard copy of documents so I should produce hard copy of the booking arrangement; It's was 11:30PM on July 20th. My checking was terrible.... My booking was for one adult and 2 children of 10 years old and 14 years old (i requested a room for 3 occupancies); the receptionist said my booking was not correct. The following day wanted to make a copy of my passport; there is no photocopy in the hotel. The receptionist are not friendly at all. most of them request a tipps...

The only thing I did not like is that my friend good not stay in my room and I booked for 2 people, only I good stay in the room, not my boyfriend, because we are not married, stupid Tunisian law.

1/ They give me a smoking room. 2/ I smell dust on the pillows and the covers also the carpet was dusty. 3/ i was going to do the Tunisian traditional bath (hammam) so usually i put all my stuff in a small bag, the problem is not here, since i get out from the elevator direction to the main door one of the waiters come following me and ask me if i am leaving I said no, i go out and like in 300 feet the same waiter was calling me ''hey you have to come to talk to the receptionist'' and in that moment i want to go because my friend is waiting for me,i told him the receptionist have to come to talk to me, i wait until he come and he said i have to pay the extra i said I'm not leaving today that happen 7/12 and my stay was till 7/13, the receptionist was accusing me in a rude attitude many times i repeat i am not leaving today. i told him if you have camera check it i have I bid bag and a small one and than my computer bag. How can a customer be treated like this.

Lovely hotel in a great location
Hotel was well-presented and all staff were friendly & helpful. Our room was clean, spacious and well-appointed. The tv had an excellent range of channels for when I wasn't staring at the sea from the balcony! I would have preferred a double bed to twin beds but they were comfortable. Good air con/heating - quite warm in the day but chilly at night. The restaurant was good, too, with a range of options and welcoming, professional staff. Overall, a really nice place to stay and well worth the price.

My stay in Hammamet at El Mehari hotel was exceptional especially with the beautiful weather in this area. The service at this hotel is awesome. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. My room was spacious and had an incredible sea view. There was plenty of good food to enjoy as well as a variety of fruits and desserts. Above all I felt safe. I spoje to a number of German tourists and they felt safe going anywhere in Hammamet. I highly recommend this 5 star hotel to everyone who seeks outstanding service. I will come vack again. M. This hotel dosent concider clients less than 17 years as child Expedia does ! So when registring they ask us to pay the difference between adult and child!!!! It is not confirme with expedia rules

5 star hotel with resonable prices
My wife and I have enjoyed the 4 night stay. The staff was very friendly, the room was cleaned every day, and the buffet was very diverse. The hotel location is in a touristic zone, where you can find shopping center, even thalasso and spa services for massage, pedicure, manicure and facial treatment. Overall, for such reasonable prices, the deal was almost perfect.
