The owners were very friendly and knowledgeable! They are the closest hotel to the blueberry farms and wineries in the area. My online booking didn't register, but they had a room for me at a great price. I will stay here again!

The standard-doubled bedded, first-floor room was clean, but not fly-free. During the summer-time some guests leave doors open, according to the front-desk clerk, so insects tend to enter. Therefore, I suggest that the owners hang a fly swatted in each room. We tried to swat them but could not catch 3.(Very annoying when trying to sleep) While taking a shower, the shower-stall sliding door became detached from its top metal molding( just by gently sliding the door open). The front-desk clerk had it repaired very quickly. We had asked, via the reservation form, to have housekeeping turn the mini-refrigerator on prior to our arrival, as suggested by a previous reviewer. It was done for us. We found about 10 frozen(old) Popsicles in the freezer section, which we cleaned out. Housekeeping should check way in the back of the freezers. They could not be seen but were there blocking the freezer section for new guests. The swimming pool area was very-well maintained, even though it is located in the middle of the parking lot. The free breakfast included: fruit juices (100%), nice muffins (with jams and cream cheese), various cold cereals, and a very nice waffle-making machine which made very tasty waffles. Coffee and tea( few choices) were available. The eating area was clean, but the windows had some insects(dead spiders and webs) lodged in the sills, as did the bathroom window in our room and the window at the front of our room.

Dated, dirty and unkept....

Posted Sep 2, 2015 on Hotels
We arrived on a Friday afternoon for 3 nights. We asked for a room on the 2nd floor as we don't like the noise usually associated with a room on the main level. The receptionist was very nice and said that she would put us in one of the better rooms. Immediately upon opening the door, the odor of pine cleanser almost knocked us out.I then proceeded to check the bedding for bed bugs as the appearance of the room was less than appealing. No bugs, thank goodness! The chair in the room was stained and the sheets on the bed were ripped. The shower and bathroom still had some hair on the floor from previous guests but appeared cleaner than the rest of the room. It was only 3 nights and we were on a budget so decided it wouldn't kill us to stay. The bed was comfortable, and that was all that really mattered to us as we didn't plan to spend much time in the room anyway. Room service was poor at best. The rug was never vacuumed in the 3 days we were there, the bed linens were just pulled up with the bedspread covering the haphazard way the bed was ...supposedly made. There was also a loose ceiling tile that looked like it was about to fall to the floor. All in all, this was a very sub-standard hotel. On a more positive note, the pool looked as if it had been well maintained, although we didn't have the time to use it. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. If it wasn't for our particular circumstances, this is not a hotel we would choose. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Never again

Posted Aug 26, 2015 on Hotels
Telephone did not work so I couldn't call the desk to tell them that the door lock did not work, TV DID NOT WORK, bathroom floor was slippery. Did not provide ashtrays in smoking room. Only good thing was it was quiet and room was clean. WOULD NOT STAY THERE AGAIN. When I told the management the next AM what my problems were, they didn't seem to care.
