Convenient HotelPosted Oct 5, 2015
Pros: Situation was convenient, good parking and the in house meals were ok.
Cons: The TV only had very limited channels and the picture broke up frequently. They continue to charge for wifi access which I will not pay
Location: The docks and Isle of Wight ferry terminals
I needed to stay somewhere near Southampton Docks for a couple of nights on business. This hotel was conveniently situated and of a pretty good standard

Nice hotel close to Cruise PortPosted Oct 4, 2015
The hotel is located very close to the port and is easy to walk. There are a number of things to see and do close to the hotel. We found the room very clean and served our needs for the night we were there.

Really handy for cruise terminalPosted Aug 6, 2015
Stayed at each end of a cruise ( royal Caribbean ) and its close enough to walk to the cruise terminal. Staff very helpful and extremely friendly although very busy due to the cruise departures. They were always on top of it. Room was comfy and clean. Breakfast was good quality with excellent service. There is not much facility in the hotel so I wouldn't stay there long duration but was ideal fro transit. Also very handy for local facilities, pubs and the West Quay shopping Centre.

A bit too basic for the pricePosted Jul 11, 2015 on Hotels
For the price (£115), it was pretty basic. There was no safe in the room, the drinking 'glasses' were plastic and the toiletries cheap. The health club was the best thing, even if the manager was terribly miserable. The worst thing, it's ridiculous to have to pay for parking.

Great location & view.Posted Jul 3, 2015 on Hotels
We had an enjoyable stay. Close to all of the cruise ships so we were able to walk to the ship to avoid the transition day craziness. Staff were helpful. Room was clean & comfortable but somewhat generic in furnishings.

As my stay was in the season for cruises, the room cost went up from under £100 to £148. The hotel rooms need updating especially the bathrooms which was very dated. Breakfast service was very good but the bar service in the evening was poor and plates were left on tables and not cleared. Drinks were expensive . I also didn't like the fact that it cost you another £7per night to park your car . If you got a room facing the road , it was very noisy as it was close to the roundabout and the main road out from the docks.rooms on the other side were quiter.

Close to cityPosted Jun 24, 2015
Ok, didn't like being told I had to have lime in gin not lemon, coffee at breakfast disappointing, certainly not Starbucks as stated. Otherwise very nice,

pre cruisePosted Jun 1, 2015
We stayed one night before a cruise in May this year. From arrival to check out we were both very happy with the hotel and staff. It was friendly very clean and very welcoming. We ate in the restaurant and both enjoyed the food. The staff were approachable and always helpful and cheerful. The hotel was a short distance from the cruise terminal which was great.
