Lovely place to stayPosted Nov 23, 2015
Pros: Clean and comfortable.
Location: Great central location for walking and cycling in the New Forest.
Clean, comfortable, well located, friendly and polite staff, fantastic breakfast and a free Crunchie! What's not to like?! We had a small room but it made it more cosy and was fine for what we needed.

Good central hotelPosted Oct 21, 2015
Pros: The staff and location
Cons: Heating was off when we were getting ready in the morning. An additional half hour breakfast service would have been nice.
Location: Walks, shopping and places of historic interest
Extremely pleasant staff. Hotel clean comfortable and central.

Pleasant hotel in convenient location.Posted Aug 24, 2015
My daughter and I only had a one night stay. Our room was very nice, bed very comfortable. Lovely breakfast available, however my daughter cannot eat gluten and there was no gluten free bread, sausages or cereal. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and the staff were very pleasant

Escaping the rain and the tent at Penny FarthingPosted Jul 31, 2015 on Hotels
We came to stay after having wet/muddy weather at our campsite and needing a refuge. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left the welcome and service were outstanding, we had a warm comfortable night in a family room for 4. A large well cooked english breakfast was included, as were teas and coffees whenever we wanted throughout the stay. Thank you we would definitly stay again and recommend your hotel.

Perfectly for exploring the New ForestPosted Jul 28, 2015 on Hotels
We stayed here for three days with our 2 year old for leisurely walks in the New Forest and to specifically visit Peppa Pig World - which was a short drive away. The hotel is located in the town centre with a short walk to the village high street, pubs and forest. Very ample parking at the back and the hotel itself is well kept with an onsite small bar. The triple room was substantial for us with two separate bedrooms and, though dated, was well kept and clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the breast was standard but had lots on offer. Overall a very lovely time had.

The breakfast was very good. The room was edequate but small. The small shower room could do with upgrading. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was okay but noisey by the road which meant on a hot day we couldn't have the window open as much as we would have liked.

Hidden GemPosted Jul 9, 2015 on Hotels
This hotel has all the qualities that the bigger chains wish they had. Meet and greet was brilliant, location tranquil and the best ever breakfast. Great food, great staff - great owner. Will definitely be returning.

Nice but a little bit noisyPosted Jun 30, 2015 on Hotels
Nice hotel. Good staff and located in central Lyndhurst. The only negative was the noise from the road just beside the hotel.
