As there was a wedding on the day of our stay we felt there was not enough staff to cope with requests for Evening meals served in the bar. Enjoyed our stay and will most certainly use the hotel again when we next cruise.
This is a very special hotel in the middle of nowhere - it is further out from Brockenhurst than we expected but found it after a quick call to the friendly staff on reception. If you love places full of history and character, then this is the place for you! Staff were very friendly and looked after ...
Easy check in/out; nice quiet room with good bath and excellent shower. A minor problem was very quickly resolved by their helpful staff. Breakfast was also good.
Lovely hotel set in nice grounds, although quite family oriented the kids were not running around screaming so could relax , spa a little small if many guests were too use but fortunate to have to ourselves Friday evening 😀
Great hotel good facilities, staff were very polite and helpful, for us it was a really good location for visiting friend and family with easy access to the motorway.
A wonderful spa weekend break. The hotel is perfectly located for activities in the Forest and the coast. We were a little disappointed that the hotel had lost some character with the refurbishment of its dining room and bar but this was more than made up for by the spa. One odd thing was, having ...
Our four day stay at the hotel was on the whole a very good one. Our only comment would be, Sunday breakfast (bank holiday weekend) proved a challenge. Staff were thin on the ground and, Flora spread had run out and other items of food were missing.
Overall our experience was positive, the room was clean and comfortable. Our only problem was that we had a toddler and the windows didn't have any child locks on. It was a hot day and so we really needed some air, but didn't want our son to escape! The receptionist gave us a fan to help but it's ...
Tylney Hall is an old English country Manor Home that has been restored to it's original elegance and comfort. The atmosphere is excellent and the staff is superb. It is an ideal place for special event or just a relaxing weekend with a little pampering. The dining room is excellent and with a good ...
very good breakfast and helpful staff. we ordered a taxi on our departure which arrived on time and any other directions given by staff were good and helpful. bar prices were rather expensive but as we don't drink very much it was not a problem.
We have spent a very enjoyable weekend at the Langstone hotel. Hayling Island is very interesting with some fascinating history and spectacular views and some lovely walks and nature reserves. Our bedroom overlooked a tidal water inlet and was a quiet retreat, watching the wildlife and boats coming ...
Stayed 3 nights with a 4 year old and baby. The grounds are lovely with two great pools that children can use at set times. However it is a bit of an odd set up. The rooms in the main Manor House appear to all be time share only, so hotel guests have to stay in small chalet type rooms in blocks behind ...
I stayed for a weekend, the room is a good size and the bed was good. The decor is modern and the facilities are good. Glitches: There was a blob of something on my bed which I removed myself when I arrived. The staff were helpful however they did not tell us the pool was closed for routine maintenance ...
