Staff are amazing. Great service and very helpful and friendly. Rooms are well presented and air con was nice. The steak dinner was terrible. Cheese salad had no cheese, it seemed to have been substituted with an enormity of raw tomato which was covered everything. I was very disappointed as I can not eat tomato. So I could not eat my salad or the chips. The steak itself was so tough I struggled to saw through it with the knife. extremely chewy and went from overly well done on the edges to bleeding and completely raw in the centre. It was already overpriced to begin with but I literally only got to eat the onion rings and a few chips. None of the cocktails on the menu were available and the bar closed very early for a hotel. The breakfast was very good. Everything was hot and good quality (except the fried egg for some reason). I would highly recommend this hotel, definitely would not use Hotels.com though. Extremely poor customer service, terrible app that barely works and the agents lied to me several times whilst trying to resolve a problem caused by the app(which cost me over £100 that was never rectified). Told me they were calling the hotel but no one was answering, a staff member and myself waited by the phone but no one called until I asked them several times to try again. Told me there were no rooms available to swap my booking, I then proceeded to book a room through the app so that wasn't true either. I would stay again.
