Great location, friendly staff, need maintenance

Posted Apr 18, 2018
POSTIVE - good price, great location, free breakfast, free parking, free wi-fi and friendly staff NEGATIVE - requested non smoking room however was put into a smoking room. After speaking to front desk, was moved into another room which was also smoking, was only room available. Due to my allergy/ cough I had to sleep with window open to allow fresh air in and consequently was bitten by mosquitos throughout the night. The bathroom required maintenance as the toilet hose was constantly spraying water onto the floor.

Pros: Helpful personnel.
Cons: Rooms conditions and to modernize the overall look of the hotel. Old decoration and dark colours are present everywhere.
Location: Shopping. close to hospital and downtown
Old furniture. TV not funcitoning and limited channels and not entertaining. Bathroom needs to be renovated, Rust and old floor. Curtains torn at some places.

Surprisingly quiet and cozy in central Beirut

Posted Nov 3, 2017
Pros: Clean, quiet, very comfortable and a great rate. Even the mini bar was reasonably priced.
Cons: I can't think of anything.
Location: It's near Hamra street with a bit of nightlife and restaurants, but on a quiet street.
The room was very comfortable and surprisingly stylish. With a room on the upper floor it was also surprisingly quiet for being so centrally located. It's only a block or so from Hamra street, but on a quiet street. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely will stay here again.

Great location in Hamra

Posted Oct 29, 2017
Pros: The location is great and the staff were very pleasant and friendly.
Cons: The Internet was extremely slow. No hot water. Room was dark. Only one English channel worked on the TV.
Location: A.U.B., KFC and McDonald's on Bliss St.
Aesthetically, the hotel is very nice and very well appointed. The location is great, very central within Hamra. Keep in mind that I am a young man in decent shape, but I found it easy to walk to almost all of the main points of interest within Beirut from the hotel. I seldom took a car from the hotel and found the neighborhood to be quite safe. The hotel is only minutes from Bliss St. and the A.U.B. That said, I didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel. If I had, the following would have bothered me: - I woke up late everyday, in the late morning and early afternoon there was no hot water. I took lukewarm showers for four days. - The Internet was extremely slow. I bought a SIM card instead. - Of the hundreds of satellite TV channels, only four (sometimes five) worked. Only one in English. - My room was kind of dark the whole time. This could be fixed by fixing a few light bulbs or installing another light or two. - The towel rack in the shower is awfully rusty. I didn't use it.
