“We enjoyed our stay at the Lakeside Motor Lodge, at the very tip of the Michigan thumb. We were on the 1st floor and there was a picnic table right outside our room. This is an an advantage not offered by very many overnight stays. We could sit outside, play some Phase 10, on the table and enjoy the cool breezes. When we check in we often ask where a good place to eat is. Bird Creek Farm was recommended. We took that recommendation and ate outside on a very nice back porch, which was obviously……
